Falcone Cookies (Amaretti Soft 2.2 lb Box) (Pack of 1)

Great little dessert with a small glass of Moscato. Comes individually packaged..just great small cookie, so soft and delicious!I would reccomend this item.

Most of the amaretti here in the US are hard, I'm glad I finally found these soft and flavorful, just like to you get in a pastry shop in Italy....

Horrible cookies,tasted nastiest,should have been soft,they were hard as bricks ! They would not give me a refund, for this Trash ! Think they were old. I think they should have made an exception about refund ! Cindy T

So the ones I bought in this order said "Sold by Espressotiamo and Fulfilled by Amazon." I used to get these at a local coffee shop that sold them by the piece, and remembered them as being really delicious - sweet with a strong almond flavor. The box I received, which had an expiration date of 6/2016, just tasted a little funny - there is a slightly tart/sour taste to these mini-amaretti that I don't remember from the ones I used to buy at my local store. They aren't expired, and I think they probably haven't gone bad, but I can't account for the sour taste...ETA December 4, 2015 - I've had these for several weeks now, and since I don't love them, I've been giving them away to coworkers and friends, and most people seem to find them delicious.

I have gotten Amaretto cookies in the past. Most are very hard biscotti like cookies. They are great for dipping in beverages, coffee, tea, etc. But these are very soft by comparison. They are very tasty and flavorful.They are individually wrapped and are small. Most are about 50mm in diameter. But that makes them perfect bite sized. The individual wrapping prevents them from all sticking together, and keep you from eating the whole box in one setting!,,,:)The $30 for a box might seem expensive, but it is a whole Kilogram of cookies.

Small and delicious treats... Enjoy these soft cookies as a yummy treat by itself or paired with some gelato or maybe a nice glass of sweet wine.... Can't go wrong with these delightful cookies!

These were very yummy and rated 5 stars at first, but recently they have begun to leave a sour after-taste like Sophia brand. Maybe they have changed something in the processing or ingredients since i began purchasing them in 2017. As of 5/19 i have switched over to Giacobbe & Gamalero: "Amaretti Morbidi Di Mombaruzzo" which still is the best for flavor and baking with none of that lingering bitterness.
