Cuisinart VWM-200PC1 Vertical Belgium Waffle Maker

I love this waffle maker. I like the whole concept of pouring it in sideways. There you don’t have to use oil. I love the gives you Different temperature settings. And my favorite part my most favorite part is that it beeps when it’s done. I don’t like to stand there and watch my waffle being made, I do other things until it beeps. It makes the fattest waffles you could eat half or my son or eat a whole one. The only reason I took off one star for a cleaning is because waffle makers in general are kind of a pain to clean. And sometimes I spell down the side maybe I’ll just have her get a better at that.

This isn’t a bad product don’t get me wrong….but they sent me a used waffle maker. I can tell someone used it pretty often and it came to me unusually dirty. I can see some dried batter still stuck to it. I’m disappointed with this service.

Best waffles ever! Consistently cooks them to a golden brown perfection without having to peek. Just set the dial to 4 and wait for the beep. Quick and delicious!

It works great, but be prepared to pour batter all other it until you get the knack of getting it down the opening. Luckily it is very easy to clean.Also, the batter needs to be the right consistency: Too thick and you end up with half a waffle. Too watery and it boils to the top. I would not recommend for making anything but regular waffles in it.

I absolutely love my waffle maker it cooks perfectly and easy to get the waffle out of the maker. If used it several times and it's been perfect. It stores so compact and fits my storage area just right.

I’ve tried other waffle makers and vertical is the way to go....no more overflow! I use an overnight yeasted Belgian waffle recipe and the results with this waffle maker are superb.

It seemed like such a cool idea! I’m practice, it works terribly. Upon pouring the batter into the machine, the opening becomes almost immediately clogged as the batter cooks and firms up. As a result, only 1/4 to 1/2 of the iron fills with batter. After several attempts and variously batter consistencies, I was unable to produce one entire waffle. Also it is incredibly difficult to clean. There are so many little crevices that batter finds its way into whilst pouring the batter, despite how careful you may be. Also, after a single gentle cleaning with a soft wet cloth and drying with a paper towel, the nonstick coating started to chip away at the sides. Oh well. It was a nice idea.
