First time I tried to order this product it "got lost in the mail", the tracking number never displayed as received by USPS, that happens. 1st order was refunded, Drew was not helpful at all, extremely short with me and offered nothing in the way of assistance. Neal had me squared away in 1 email. Now the 2nd order shows up in a destroyed USPS flat rate envelope in a bag with bent corners and scratches that are deep enough to hold water, at least one per face. Not a lot of effort was put into either orders, and now I'm left to make the decision of use flawed bars or delay the project until after Christmas. Their only saving grace is the bars are solid and measured right.

I wasn’t to sure what the surface was going to be like, it’s full of small lines from the manufacturing process. A few hours of wet sanding and some buffing and they are polished. While wet sanding I was able to see that the one side is flatter then the other”the center is recessed” , I was able to flatten with minor sanding. The end cuts are very square cuts, both blocks are the same size. They shipped in double boxes so they arrived safely and no disfigurement. Quick free shipping even though I was given a 3 week+ ETA.

Some people have complained that these blocks are rough finished. These blocks are intended to be machined into something do the exterior finish doesn’t really matter. If you want a polished block, that’s a different product. I needed to make an adapter for my parking brake bracket and these were good chunks of aluminum for the job.

These blocks are quite nice. They are fairly flat--certainly good enough for for the press I'm making. One did have a little ding on one edge which doesn't effect the use, but it is ugly. Still, couldn't find anything similar for less. The blocks do drill and tap easily.

Showed up promptly. It had a little ding in the corner but they are obviously raw and need to be finished—so what does it matter.
