CREE are well known for the LED technology. highly recommendedyou cannot go wrong, expensive but worth itI have used CREE LED for years now. i have them exposed to elements (outdoors, rain or shine) and i have them turned on 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 days and if i am correct, now running in 6 years non stopI have them also in on and off light sensor for motion detector, again for the past 6 or more years and still worksYes, they are more money, but well worth it IF you do not want to keep on replacing light bulbs

Cree is the brand that I use because the bulb has no yellow in it. It is pure white. Home Depot no longer carries that brand. I’m thrilled that I can get it on Amazon.

A perfect LED would mimic the light quality of an incandescent and this comes close. The light is a bit heavy on the blue end and a bit light on the red end. Reds still look red but paler and anything with red pigment in it also has a small shift in color. The light appears very bright compared to an incandescent 60W, probably because the light spectrum is tilted to wavelengths one's eye is more sensitive to. A dimmer may help but this is in an overhead fixture with no dimming possible.

Most manufacturers post a mean time before failure of the led's but the electronics are what actually fails first. I have pulled apart several units and found the same failed electrolytic capacitor in all units. How about putting a better capacitor (panasonic) in your units.

LOVE these bulbs. Integrated flawlessly with Echo Alexa devices. A little pricey but all similar bulbs are pricey. Nice to be able to have lights turn on and off at specific times. Nice to be able to turn them on and off remotely also. Big fan of daylight bulbs, especially in the winter. Cree bulbs have not let us down. Will be buying more for sure!

I use these bulbs in my barn. They are on a timer & burn all night. I can see what's going on from my house. It's a great bright bulb that isn't breakable!Have used them for years!!

I bought a couple sets of these to replace the stock lightbulbs in my newly installed ceiling light (not a candelabra type), and they're perfect. The daylight color and clarity is impossible to beat, and the price isn't bad considering these should last a long time. Plus the brightness is exactly what I was looking for, since the room I put these in is a dark colored room without a lot of light reflectivity, so these helped lighten things up a lot. I'll update this if I need to, but in the meantime I highly recommend them.
