Think Tank Photo Hydrophobia V3.0 Raincover for 300-600mm Lenses

Trying to find a quality rain cover for big glass has been challenging. I bit the bullet and got this, as my other ThinkTank products have all been well designed and well made. This is no exception! It fits my Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM easily. The bottom zipper works perfectly with my monopod too.The only issue is its really designed to be used with the appropriate eyepiece attachment, which you have to buy separately. However, once attached, it's fantastic. I'm not looking forward to shooting in the rain, but this will make it much easier and protect my gear.

Very well made. A professional quality cover. I first learned about this from a National Geographic photographer. It’s worth the cost to protect your expensive rig. Plus it helps keep your hands warm!

This is well designed and well made. It's water proof and will keep dust out! I have not taken it out in the elements yet so I gave 4 stars.I bought it to shoot from a 52 foot sailboat in southeast Alaska this fall.

This is for a upcoming trip to Haines Alaska for the bald eagle festival. It is supposed to be raining and I don't want to have to stay indoors and not photograph if it is raining. This is the one all the Pros were using last year.

This is an Excellent Rain Cover; very well made. Fits my Canon 400 2.8 with extender and 1DX Body, also R5 Body.The only bad thing about it, is you need to buy a separate eye-piece that fits on the camera. You should check this out on Think-tank's web site as to what eye-piece you need.I got an Eyepiece for my 1DX bodies, You do not need one for the Canon EOS R5, as the cover fits the eye piece on the R5.. You need to stretch it a wee bit.

bought this for a 1dx and a 600mm lens. it is a very well engineered piece of equipment.you can turn the camera on the lens into every position or attach an additional extender under the cover.the eye piece does not have cheap plastics that blurrs the image in the view finder. so thats another plus.important: you have to order the eyepiece seperately as it is important what camera you will be using this on.i use this for wildlife photography and despite the fact that a 1dx with a pro grade lens can withstand heavy rain for several hours, this rain cover will have you lose the strange feeling in your gut immediatly. stay howlong you want, where ever you are. thats just perfectthanks for such a great tool, very much appreciated.

The latest generation of Think Tank covers are superb. As a professional often working in harsh environments I need to know my kit is going to be well protected - the V3 Hydrophobia covers are just the job. Since purchasing this one I also invested in the V3 70-200 and 24-70 covers to replace my existing Aquatechs. These are streets ahead and use the latest DWR fabrics and storm proof zips.Time will tell of the old problem of the clear vinyl panels yellowing with age has been solved!

Expensive but then so is the lens it protects. Excellent quality.
