Did not lose suction
I bought this to make a tricky installation of a large piece of glass which took considerable finessing -- moving it up and down and back and forth in its mounts. It holds with serious strength and did not loose suction over an eight hour period. I'll probably never need it again, but it certainly worked well for this job.

Really grab well, don't lose suction
I fit this to the sloping hood of my 2005 Volvo XC70 station wagon as part of a support for my hang glider roof rack. I had the suction cups anchored to the metal and they both held through sun, rain and cold/hot New England nights and days for more than a week without losing any suction. Great price, quality product. Be sure you clean the surface, and apply a little vaseline or other sealing help, also have some rubber protectant on hand so the cups don't dry out over time. Well worth the money I paid, I'll probably get a backup set.

Need to fix your laminate Floors?
I recently had Laminate flooring put in about 6 months ago and started to notice that the flooring was coming apart on the ends and in one place along the long side (Don't know how to fix that one yet) as for the ends; I looked up on You Tube to see if there was anything I could do other then tearing up the whole floor. The video showed this simple trick using the Glass suction cups to fix the areas where the flooring was separating on the ends. So I brought this and yes it works. Still working an the fixes but at least this was a simple solution even a Girl can do.

Sturdy great material
I wanted to use the suction cups to steady my plastic ruler when cutting my material. I found out I will need to use my wider ruler for this to work. I like the construction of the cups, easy grip. I am sure I will be able to use this for other things around the house and garage. I will be looking for something smaller, but with a sturdy handle for my slimmer rulers.

Laminate floor fix
I used this to tighten up a couple gaps in a new floor I had put in a couple months ago (settling in/big temp swings). For reference this was 12mm laminate flooring that was not complete flat i.e. it has a built in simulated wood grain. Whack. Whack. Done, worked perfectly. If you're like me and don't need another mallet laying around the shop this may be the ticket for your floors. Should be obvious, but just make sure that this suction cup head isn't a larger diameter than your flooring width.

Operator difficulty
Not for smooth vinyl waterproof laminate flooring in the bathroom. It was suggested on you-tube to utilize this nifty tool to install, move or torque vinyl laminate flooring into position. And demonstrated with ease on the videos. My reality was vastly different. The tool is an excellent quality piece of equipment, durable ,well made, constructed well but didn't work at all. tried cleaning the vinyl laminate over and over, even cleaning the suction cups but no amount of effort could get the cups to adhere securely. Tried it on the windows and could move the sliding glass doors with ease. The tool works great on glass. The wife is still laughing at me and tells wonderful stories about my new glass door opener handle. I've since returned the suction cups and the laughter has partially subsided.

Perfect for Laminate Flooring Movement
Saw an easy trick for removing gaps in laminate flooring that can occur with the change of the seasons. Secured the suction cups to the laminate and tapped the fixture to close the gaps. It really does work well! There are only a few gaps that occur repeatedly. If the flooring is installed perfectly without damaging the clasps, you shouldn't get any gapping.

Not bad, not good.
It’s decent but the suction doesn’t hold as well as I’d like. Used it to install flooring but it kept losing grip.
