Great chair!
It's just the chair I wanted. Adjustable, comfortable. It was very easy to assemble. The instructions are minimal and I got hung up on Step 3, which looked like 3D chess until I was able to figure it out. Once I got past that, it was a breeze. There are a few small dings on the chair, which seems to be made of some sort of heavy duty plastic and not metal. But the price was reasonable and it works perfectly. I've had it 2 weeks and very happy with it. If you like to fidget, it rotates and tilts. I especially like being able to put the arms up when I want to push it under my worktable. The mesh is nice. I hope it holds up.

Comfy extended use, breathable chair without breaking the bank
I work from home so I sit a lot and was looking for a comfortable chair that would hold up over time.I’ve had this chair a week now so I can’t talk about the durability over time but it’s mesh so there isn’t a foam cushion or stuffing to break down over time which has happened to me with less expensive computer chairs. It has great lumbar support although the upper part of the seat back angles a little more than I’m used to with my previous chair.Initial impression when sitting in the chair was that the cushion at the edge of the seat under the mesh was a bit uncomfortable but reserved judgement until I had a chance to use it for a while. Now that I’m used to it and it’s a bit more broken in I find that the seat bottom is comfortable for extended sitting and the arm rests are firm but comfortable enough. Speaking about the arm rests, I love that they fold up. I occasionally pick up a guitar to pluck a bit and it’s great for that use.Assembly was quick and painless, but unfortunately after putting the chair together I noticed that there was a cut in the seat back mesh. I contacted the seller and they worked with me to send a new seat back without any hassle, great customer service!Overall, I’m happy with the chair and would order it again. If I could give it 4-1/2 stars I would. Also worth noting, I’m a smaller guy at 5’10” 140lbs.

Awesome desk chair for teacher
I have had this chair for four years. It's very comfortable and offers great back support. It is easily adjusted for both height and how far the back leans. I was able to put it together myself in under an hour without any difficulty. I have not had any issues with sturdiness. Sometimes when substitutes or students adjust my chair back I can sit and lean too far back and feel uneasy. I just turn the knob and let it back up and I'm good to go. It's very aesthetically pleasing and matches any decor. Most who sit in it find it very comfortable or simply adjust it to themselves. Overall great value.

Attractive and comfortable chair but had a major defect
This task chair was not difficult to assemble, since I've put several together over the past few years. It is attractive and well made. I looked for years of great service. It took me a couple of days to get used to the "sit" of the chair but I found it extremely comfortable...much better than my previous task chair that had no lumbar support. I liked the flip-up arms so I could have them in a position that would work for me, whether up or down. There was no info provided in the assembly instructions about all the levers and knob for adjustments.UNFORTUNATELY, ten days after I started using this task chair, it started creaking and groaning (a kind of spring-related noise)--and loudly, too! This noise persisted and no matter what I attempted to do per adjustments, it did not alleviate this totally irritating racket whenever I sat in the chair (and, no, I am not obese!). I tried emailing, then phoning (was told, however, to use their email address), then emailing again, the manufacturer to no avail...customer service is NOT present at Flash Furniture, obviously! My last resort was to present this problem to Amazon and I was told (and was assisted in the process) to return this chair (which I have). I cannot recommend any Flash Furniture products at this point...and definitely NOT this task/office chair!

Excellent lumbar support!
Like a lot of others, I found myself suddenly working remotely full time last spring. My old home office chair didn't cut it for 50-60 hours per week. I paid hundreds for various chairs from Costco and Office Depot that have since been returned or donated. This one hits the sweet spot. The flip up arms are perfect for when I need to slide in close for detail work. The lumbar support is firm without any hard spots. And the mesh was a life saver over the hot summer (no A/C at home). My one and only complaint is that after about 3 months it started to squeak when leaning back. It became distracting during Zoom meetings. A little WD-40 dry lube solved that issue.Excellent value and more comfortable than my expensive "real" office chair.
