It tastes great.
I don't usually like packet or tinned soups but my friend gave me this for lunch one day and I really enjoyed it. It's quite difficult to find in the shops so I ordered it from Amazon. It's really nice and thick yet light on the stomach and unlike other powdered soups it actually tastes great.

Great Taste but beware of Sticky Lids
I love soups of nearly all varieties, but having lots of tins cluttering up your kitchen cupboard, as well as the faffing of rinsing out and recycling them was becoming a pain, and quite an expensive pain with the noticeable price rises in the supermarkets due to the C19 virus. So I bought a packet of this powdered soup based on the mostly positive reviews. The instructions on the side of the tub were not really geared towards people who wanted a simple cuppa-soup, but more towards larger portions (85g of soup, 850ml of boiling water yields 5 portions). It also assumes you're doing this on the hob, as there is no mention of using a microwave. After removing the plastic strip from around the sealed lid it was a bit of a struggle to actually pull the lid from the tub! I had to be careful because I didn't want the lid to pull away suddenly and thus covering the worktop (or me) on soup dust! But eventually it did come away. (hopefully this was just a one-off!)I just wanted a mugful of soup, so I used 2 heaped teaspoons, some boiling water and a little bit of paprika to give it some extra zing. I stirred it and let it settle, but it was still a little watery, so added a 3rd heap, which got the consistency I was looking for.A lovely tomato taste, that went down a treat and was tempted to make another one but resisted.Another thing of note is how deceptive the size of the tub is compared to the actual volume of contents inside. It looked to be around 2/3rds full, even though the quoted net weight of 425g is accurate. The use-by date is written on the side of the tub, and in my case it was for August 2021 (I bought this in May 2020), so plenty of time to consume.Whether these tubs work out cheaper than the tinned versions is probably a personal matter based on how many heaped teaspoons are used and for what purpose (a mug or a bowl), but they certainly save on space, and taste just as good.

Its cup of soup in a much bigger quantity.
If you have had cup of soup before you will know it has a stange taste to it, does not taste anything like tinned or other soups. If you are after cup of soup in bigger quantities then this is perfect for you and tastes just as good as any cup of soup, however i was expecting something diffrent since the instructions call for it being hob heated and i was hoping for a more premium cup of soup which this is not.if you expecting anything other than cup of soup then you will be disapointed, if your just after a bit more value and like the cup of soup taste then this is perfect.Im personaly not a huge fan but others may find this perfect.
