FolkArts outdoor sealant is an amazing sealer that is very easy to use. Apply with a paint brush. It's a glossy clear sealant that has great coverage when applied. It holds up great outside and I've found it to be a great sealant for kindness rocks.

I bought this for a smaller diy wood project. I specifically chose this because I've used Plaid Folkart products many many times over the years and the prices are always very reasonable. The size and the cost was fitting for the project. However, when we decided we could use another bottle, the price Increased 60% in two days! And now it's increased approx. 120%! This is so disappointing from a brand that has been my go to brand for so long. Needless to say, we scraped enough from the first bottle and made it work. Which wasn't really ideal, but ...it's just the principal. This is more than just supply and demand. It's just ridiculous!

This product was described as clear gloss, non-yellowing. However, this is how it arrived. Definitely returning, definitely do not recommend.

I used this to seal some clay pots I painted and it was very smooth. It didn’t leave the strange white residue I often get with other products so I was very happy with it. Got a decent amount covered with what I had, applied smooth, and does well repelling water.

You will need less than you think. Apply sparingly.

I usually don't give products really awful reviews but this one is a total LOSER! I used it on unfinished wood to seal it. Needless to say this seems like white glue and something else, and it turned the unfinished wood a milky white. Then, it never dried completely but instead stayed maleable. Next, it began peeling off (as you would be able to peel sheets of dried white glue from your fingers ). If it got damp, the wood became slightly sticky even though this junk was allegedly dry. I would NEVER EVER recommend this product to ANYONE. It's one of the WORST I've ever bought on Amazon. It reminds me of another similar product that again, is basically white glue. DON'T BUY! Seriously, don't! I've been crafting for decades and this product is just plain awful!

Very happy with purchase! Used as top coat on painted rocks. Product is easy to use, goes a long way, provides a lovely finish, and is easy to clean up after use. Would buy again.
