3.5 Star A Couple Of Design Flaws, Not Recommended For The Automotive Repair Center.
***Edit to my original review*** After being contacted by the seller in regards to my review, and it’s unfairness in comparison to a tool that costs 3x more (MityVac), I have decided to amend my original review. I added an additional star only because Amazon does not do half stars. Imo, this product deserves a 3.5 star rating, because although it can not compare to a commercial grade tool such as the MityVac, it still falls short in certain categories when compared to other products in the same price tier. For example: Schwaben makes a similar brake bleeder for the same price (actually cheaper due to a current sale as of this review) which does not have the same shortcomings in design that this product does. The Schwaben unit comes with a quick-to-connect fitting for the master cylinder cap. Also, the hose connection at the unit free spins, allowing ease of movement and placement. The hand pump is also made of a much sturdier plastic that will probably withstand daily use at an automotive shop if proper care is taken. Overall, I feel these slights in design will prove tedious, and cumbersome even for it’s intended target demographic. I also feel they will shorten the life, and usefulness of the tool, and affect the overall ownership experience. This product is of decent quality for the weekend warrior, or as a backup for a main unit. Not recommended for the professional automotive milieus. Unfortunately for me, my old MityVac Brake bleeder finally gave way, and I needed a suitable replacement. I stumbled upon this one whilst perusing Amazon, and decided to give it a try. I didn’t get very far. As soon as I took it out of the packaging, I knew this would not work for me. Firstly, the handle and pump mechanism is made of very brittle plastic, and the mechanism is simply a plastic piston pressed onto a handle with an o-ring as a seal to create the pressure. I just cannot see that lasting for many brake jobs. The other noticable flaw is the feed hose to the master cylinder adapter cap. It is made of a frosty plastic that will harden very quickly. It is also permanently secured on with one time use clamps which would make servicing that hose more tedious than it should be, plus the aforementioned permanent connection. The cap is best used with a quick-to-connect fitting. All in all, I returned it, and decided to get another MityVac. Well worth the money. Mine lasted 8 years.

5 stars with a grain of salt
If was not for the fact They sent a cap not suitable for BMW as advertised I would had been very happyVORTXX IF THEY WORK A SIMPLE METHODOLOGY TO NOT INCLUDE WRONG CAP IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A SEEMINGLESS EASY TRANSACTION, LABEL YOUR CABS WITH SHYNY BRIGHT STICKERS AS WELL THE BOXES INDICATING WHICH CAPS HAVE BEEN INCLUDED, LABEL YOUR CAPS WITH WORDS LIKE “EUROPEAN” “BMW” NOT MODEL numbers (you have no la ela whatsoever on the caps) the threads on caps may look identical to the untrained eye. SUCH SIMPLE CONTROL COULD MADE IT A PLEASANT AND POSITIVE EXPERIENCEPROS1- release valve2-EXCELLENT QUICK RELEASE connector3- ergonomically correct, “easier to handle” but could be a bit betterCons:LACK OF SIMPLE PACKAGING CONTROL INFURIATES CUSTOMERSCUSTOMERS prep the entire garage and car antecipating the job to be done, reserve the day and time for the task just to unbox the gadget and find out it had the wrong cap not suitable for European vehicles “as it had been advertised”.Several hours wasted not counting not having the vehicle available until receiving a replacement product or else invest the time to put the car back together and repeat the process all over again, wasting time, break fluid etc.I returned and bought Motive, although same price, quick delivery by Amazon, the design is way too awkward to handle, connectors are laughable and gasket is faulty it leaks air. MOTIVE NOT ALL RECOMMENDED

Works well
This pressure bleeder makes bleeding the brakes on my 2010 335i a breeze. I bled all 4 corners in less than an hour. That includes all the time spent jacking my car up and removing the tires. All I had to do was fill the bleeder with fresh brake fluid, attach the cap onto the brake reservoir, pump up to 10psi, and then crack open the bleeder ports. Before buying this I would have to grab my wife to help me pump the brake pedal so I could bleed them. This bleeder is definitely faster and more convenient since I can do it myself, no nagging from the wife either!Be aware that this bleeder doesn't come with a bag or bottle to catch all the fluid you're bleeding out. Wasn't a big deal for me as a 10" piece of vinyl tubing and a empty water bottle did the trick.

Great Addition To the Tool Chest - No More Asking Friends For Help!
I love doing work on my own cars but was never a fan of asking for help from all my non car enthusiast friends to help pump the brakes for me. Just finished bleeding the brakes on my 2003 BMW 330Ci and it was super easy to use, just add brake fluid, pump it up to pressure, then just loosen each of the bleed screws one at a time! Nice overall solid tool to add to the toolbox and no need to ever ask for help again which is well worth it for me.

Excellent Purchase!
I used this to bleed my brakes while I was doing a full brake job - pads and rotors. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this pressure bleeder worked since I finished in like... 15 minutes on the first try. The best part is you don't have to keep an eye on the fluid level. Just pump the tank and crack open the bleed valves. The tank was much bigger than needed; I poured two 12 oz bottles of BMW dot 4 brake fluid and it wasn't even half filled.

Save your money
First unit would not hold pressure at quick connect. Amazon kindly sent a second unit. Second unit held pressure during 20 minute test. Filled it with DOT4 and pumped it to 10lbs. Started to bleed pass. rear, all good, moved to driver rear and noticed very little pressure at bleeder. Went to front of car and saw a pint of DOT4 on floor. Fluid was leaking from quick disconnect. Spent an hour trying to make it hold presssue, no good. Needed to finish the job so I cut the quick connect off... made an adaptor to connect hose direct to cap. Finished job. My advice is to buy some speed bleeders and you will save both time and money.
