Davosa Swiss Automatic Diver's Watch - Luxury Analog Argonautic Waterproof Sport Wrist Watch for Men with Stylish Bracelet

I am absolutely thrilled with this diver. The quality of build is of a $2500 diver. The only think I am going to do is take it to my watchmaker and have him install a domed sapphire crystal because I like those. I do that to all my watches. You won’t regret this diver. Get this one that is 42.5. It wears a little larger.

Invicta is Japanese movement (Seiko) not Swiss. This watch swiss movement, though the name is new, the watchmaker isn't.As far as diving, no one in their right mind would go diving with a $10,000 rolex submariner. The diver, implies style not use.As for light? How do you propose diving into murky depths without a bright digital light. Luminescent watches will never offer proper light. Rolex submariner uses luminescence, maybe a minute or 2 of light maximum. Is it worth, the price? That is debateble. If $800 is your max for a swiss movement diver, go for it. If you have few hundred dollars more, buy an Oris.I welcome all those reading my review to research the mentioned watches and make the decision based on that. $800 is to much money to invest without research.

This is a magnificent watch. It is imposing in size, and being made in bronze just puts it off the charts! Bronze is the metal of classical antiquity, as well as the stuff of hard-hat diving suits. It looks good in the photos; wait till you see it on your wrist. The overall color scheme is muted bronze and black, and the luminova glows nicely in the dark. I can't wait to see how the patina looks. Oh, they are only making 300 of these, so don't wait. I truly believe that you could buy this watch, wear it for a year, box it up, and sell it on ebay used for more than you paid for it new. But why would you? It's just that good.

There are many reasons to avoid this watch and few reasons to buy the Davosa Argonautic BG.Number one: this watch is NOT a dive watch! One thing that is super important in a dive watch is the ability to see the seconds hand in darkness. The reason for this requirement is to see the watch is running while in darkness. Imagine diving in murkey water or in a wreck and not being able to tell if your watch is running!Number two: the band is a fake engineer! The band has one piece links designed to look like five piece links found on an engineer bracelet.Number three: the lume. The painted on lume will barely last until the end of a movie.Number four: the case. There is no high polish on the case. The case is all brushed and at the $799 price one would/should expect some high polish. The case shows corners cut in the manufacture process.Number five: the bezel. The bezel is loose on my watch and rattles.Number six: the service. Prior to buying my Davosa I sent an email to Davosa which was answered right away. I have sent two emails about the loose bezel and Davosa has (as of this writing) not responded.In conclusion:I could recommend this watch at the $250-$275 price range. Please keep in mind that Invicta sells a Watch with a Swiss movement (200m water resistant) for under $250.

I ordered this Limited Edition bronze/blue Argonautic and I'm very happy with my purchase! The watch was shipped (with Tracking) in excellent packaging and arrived promptly. I have to say that the watch looks *even better* in person than it does on the website. The combination of bronze/blue looks terrific, and the leather band is very comfortable. I have a 6 3/4" wrist and this timepiece looks just about perfect on it. So far the watch is keeping excellent time--well within the norms for an automatic watch of this sort. I expect this won't be my only Davosa watch....

Ausgezeichnete Taucheruhr.Sehr gut verarbeitet und das Uhrwerk ist sehr genau reguliert.Leider waren keine Garantie Papiere dabei; aber ich bekomme sie nachgeschickt.Die Uhr würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.
