I love these cards for the fact that they are 100% plastic, and because they have non-standard artwork on them -- they are different than the usual. The backs of the cards have pseudo-military artwork on them (cartoonish bombs), and that is perfect for my needs.They shuffle, easily; they are flexible, smooth, and super easy to work with, albeit they are a bit slippery to handle.I bought these to use the A-10-J-Q-K-Joker cards for a wargame: mix the Hearts(Diamonds) and Spades (Clubs) together, randomly; draw a card as a Unit Activation Token (Red or Black Team), in lieu of the traditional, I-GO-U-GO turn sequence. I wanted something durable, different, and with a war-like theme in its artwork.One critical need, for my purposes, was that the Jokers be differentiated by Red and Black colors. These Jokers were not clearly pictured in the entry, but I took a chance that they were different, and easy to tell apart -- they are.As noted in other reviews, the cards are waterproof, 100% plastic; the cardboard box they come in, is not even water-resistant! For me that does not matter. Be prepared to secure them with a rubber binder/band, if you plan on getting them into wet environments.I have no idea of their durability, as I just received them. Their price was nice, the artwork is excellent for my needs (different from the standard, traditional artwork!), they are 100% plastic, and super-easy to shuffle, even for an all-thumbs hack, like me. It took a little while to get used to the texture and low friction coefficient but these are, without a doubt, the best cards I’ve ever used. These cards have made me into a card snob- unable to use cheap paper cards. Even some of the more reputable paper cards cause me pain. 10/10

These are super sturdy so they don’t blow away easily. They’re easy to shuffle but are a little slick. Not anything you can’t get used to. Easy to see, even at dusk. And are waterproof so it doesn’t matter if the table gets wet while people are swimming. Really glad we got these.

Love these playing cards. I have carried a basic pack of Bicycle Brand cards everyday for the past year or so. You never know when you'll have some down time that you can sit down and play some cards. I have gone through 3 packs of the basic cards in that year. Each one would end up ruined at some point or another. When I got the Maxpedition Brand cards the first thing I did was give them a good shuffle. At that point I could already notice the difference in quality. These cards are amazing. The next thing I did (Just to curb my curiosity) was take the cards to my sink to actually test the 'All Weather' description. The water just beaded right off of the cards and once I took a towel to them to dry off you would have no idea that they had been soaked to the point where normal cards would be totally destroyed. I highly recommend this product and already have two more decks in my shopping cart for my next order.

These are some of the best cards to play with anywhere. Coming from a long time card player, these tactical all-weather cards totally live up to the hype. I have a ton of decks of paper and casino quality cards, and my partner and I use these almost exclusively. Great for travel and legit designed for military and extensive field use, hands down better than any non-paper cards on the planet.Get these cards. Now.

Expected cards, due to it’s ads, that can be played, in some wind & other light weather conditions. What we got was a pack of extremely well marketed, expensive, & very ordinary playing cards. Also: NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN. B.s.

Reading previous reviews had me worried about the plastic cards being too slippery. They are, but not excessively. After adjusting to the lighter weight I can bridge shuffle without having half the deck fly away.Compared to regular playing cards, these cards are lighter and don't have that card to card 'stickness', which gives it the illusion of being slippery. The cards themselves have a rough-ish texture, like very fine sandpaper, this irregular texture enables the cards to slide past each other unlike traditional cards which have a regular grid like pattern which when sliding past each other there is an 'air cushioning' feeling. I've attached a close up photo to show the texture.Overall I like the deck very much.

The survival tool nobody talks about. There is a reason that soldiers, explorers and sailors have been bringing cards and dice with them for hundreds of years (in the case of dice thousands of years). Boredom is far more common in a “survival” situation then is described in manuals and T.V. shows. “Okay I have food, water and shelter… now what?” These cards are a nice way to pass the time. Some people complain about the cards being waterproof but the case they come in being of a simple cardboard box construction. Simply keep them in a Ziploc bag and your good.

The cards are very good and feel great and durable. I wish the box was more durable, I feel the cards will last a lot longer than the box will.

These are good looking cards but the coating, whilst rendering them weatherproof, means they slip around a lot on a table tops or in my hands.If that doesn’t worry you - go for it.

Had to think a lot about buying a pack of cards at this price but it was so worth it . Camping in rain and spilling drinks over them (kids) . Being able to just wipe them down with no harm at all . Fantastic

Ich habe dieses Kartenspiel geordert, damit ich bei längeren Wartezeiten immer eine Alternative zur Hand habe, die auch ohne Strom funktioniert.Da ich bereits bereits einige Maxpedition Artikel mein Eigen nenne, habe ich auch hier zugeschlagen.Das Kartenspiel ist robust, super verpack und sauber in der Verarbeitung.Es fehlt nichts und man kann direkt losspielen.Durch das Material ist es auch Problemlos möglich die Karten unter fließen Wasser zu reinigen, sollten Sie einmal dreckig werden.Eine klare Kaufempfehlung für jeden, der ein outdoor Kartenspiel sucht.
