Logitech USB Replacement Receiver Wireless Gaming Headset G930 New

Item worked as described. Before you pair the new receiver to your headset you must first install the latest Logitech Gaming Software. After you install the software follow these instructions to pair the headset and the new receiver. 1. Plug in the wireless receiver, preferably to a USB 2.0 slot. 2. The receiver LED light will start blinking 3. Insert a small item into the hole just below the flashing led light and wait for it to start blinking rapidly. 4. Power on your headset, the led light on it will start flashing 5. Hold down the power button on the headset for approximately 10 seconds, at which point the led on the headset will start to blink rapidly 6. After a few seconds, the receiver and headset will both stop flashing and will be paired.

This item worked flawlessly. The packaging was very nice and official just for the receiver. The instructions came with the item on how to pair your headphones with the receiver. Worked as intended too. Quick note: If you are having difficulties using your microphone on the headset, check to make sure you are using a USB 2.0 port instead of a 3.0 port. For some reason this makes a difference and switching to a different port made them work perfectly.

I gave this item 4 stars because it will surely die prematurely like the original one did and is a bit pricey for what it is. That being said it does work as described and did breathe life back into my headset . I would however prefer that Logitech build them better to begin with. If you read the reviews on the headsets you can see is a fairly common occurrence. Reviewing it as a stand alone product however it has performed well so far and was cheaper than a new headset.

I paid for expediate and it arrived within 3 days. I wanted to note a few things: 1.) Instructions it came with stated to plug into the hub this is not necessary. 2.) Instructions on the paper that was included stated to how the power on the headset for ten seconds then do it on the reciever this did not work for me. 3.) Instructions on someone comments said vice versa do the receiver first then 10 seconds on the headset, that also did not work for me. 4.) Finally, i thought outside the box and decides to push the pin inside the hole of the receiver and hold the power buttonnon the headset at the same time. PAIRED.

My tower fell and broke my headset receiver.... it was terrible, if that's what you were thinking. This took only a couple days to ship and works as intended. Headset works like a champ like it did before broken receiver.

This item was a replacement for an original receiver which was sat on and broken... The pairing process was easy and straight forward. It took about 5 minutes to read the instructions and pair up with headset. Quick and easy, and works great!

I bought this to replace a receiver that I was having a really odd problem with. After a year or so, when I plugged in the original receiver, it would disconnect and reconnect 10-12 times before beginning to work. According to Logitech support, this is not uncommon and I needed to buy a new receiver. I bought this one and after a much shorter time it is now as defective as the original. So once again, when I boot up my PC I get to hear the windows disconnect sound immediately followed by the windows connect sound immediately followed by the windows disconnect sound immediately followed by the windows connect sound over and over again. I've used Logitech mice/keyboards/game controllers for many years and I have to say the quality is simply not there anymore. The hardware does not hold up well to even light use. Every update of their gaming software seems to cause another problem. The only high end thing about Logitech at this point is the price. Their idea of support is "Sorry we can't help you, buy a new one." At this point, I'm taking that advice. As my Logitech products are failing, I am buying new products from other companies.

Came in new condition just as in the description. (Had the factory plastic film still attached.) Arrived a day early. Packaging was just right (not boxes inside of boxes inside of boxes as Ive seen from others. Device works great after doing a pairing (Turn off headset, hit button in hole on dongle with paper clip, hold power button on headset for 10-15 sec) Dongles do break pretty easy but that's Logitech's fault not this seller. Much cheaper than getting a new headset. Happy with purchase.
