Transformed an old beat up Shotgun into something just as good as brand new. Just add racing stripes to make the gun go faster.
I really like this A-TACS IX kit. It dressed up a very old High Standard model 200 that had a little pitting and a beat up stock from sitting for years between my Grandfather owning and using the Shotgun until I got it. Must have sat in a soft case for about twenty years without any love so naturally it got a little rusty. Seriously people if you aren't going to actively use a firearm then do not let them sit in a soft case. They hold in moisture. Anyways this skin covered up all of those superficial imperfections very nicely and now she is ready for turkey hunting this fall and the following Spring. The camo is great looking,....... and rather new so you'll be the first kid on your block with it......,lays on relatively easily, and the instructional videos online do a good job of teaching you how to lay it on your shotgun. Only area I had a little problem with was the wood forend. For whatever reason I couldn't get it to lay on straight so I had a couple of little wrinkles that formed; and not just where the grip curves sharply to meet the tubular magazine. It wasn't too big of a problem though because a trick that I did was to take a normal razor blade, lay it flat against the camo skin, and shave the wrinkle off. If you hit that wrinkle with a good amount of heat beforehand and get it as small as possible then you should be able to shave it off without there being any amount of original shotgun surface showing. All that will remain is a very think white line where the two sides of the wrinkle meet that you will be hard pressed to find if you don't know it is there because, well, the gun is camouflaged. Another trick was to hit the wrinkle with a heat gun and then use the flat side of a knife or razor blade and rock it back and forth over the wrinkle. Often times that will flatten everything out and it will look perfect. One last thing that happened was that the piece of vinyl for the barrel wasn't wide enough to make it all the way around the chamber of my barrel. It made it around the rest of the barrel fine, with plenty to spare, but where the barrel is thicker for the chamber I was about a half of an inch short from making it all the way around. I may have been able to stretch out the vinyl to cover that through heating it up and stretching it as I went, but in the end I had so much extra scrap that I just found a good piece that blended well and through it on. Now the great things......This camo is Awesome! The vinyl lays on well for the most part. If you take your time with it then you will be rewarded with good results the first time trying; seriously watch all of the gun skin install videos and you'll see different little tricks that work for very specific situations that you'll come across that aren't in the shotgun install video. You will have a lot of left over vinyl to work with....so you should be able to knock out a scope with all of the extra. I purposefully left several parts of my shotgun black, e.g. the trigger assembly, muzzle brake/choke, High Standard Logo on the bottom of the stock..... and it adds a very nice contrast to the predominantly camo'd shotgun. So you don't have to really worry about wrapping every little nook and cranny since it will still look awesome. And last but not least this kit included an A-TACS IX skull logo sticker to throw on that adds a little touch of personality to the camo. Honestly it's a great looking kit and a fun days work of laying it on. For the minor flaws I am very happy and chalk them up to beginners technique.

love it
Its not totally easy to put on especially around radius's . take your time and stretch it around areas. It came out remarkably well. I am super pleased. I don't know if I would trust myself on a 2K shotgun but I used it on my old Mossberg 500 pump. Looks terrific. if you look real close you can see my many screwups... although I think i would do better as i did this more often. All in all. It goes on easy and stays on. the pro youtube reviews are just that. they have obviously done alot I think the sweet spot of this product is you dont have to be a pro. you can put patches over mistakes and you really cant see the patches. I may try my glock pistol.

Good, quality, would do it again.
Definitely need a heat gun. Instruction video is very helpful. Do not rush it. Took me about 25-30 minutes. Recomend.

Very good option for those that don't want to buy a new rifle for every area they hunt
Great product. Hard to get on the first time around. Takes a lot of patience. But a great product. I needed to camo my stainless deer rifle and used this. Looks great even with the multiple bubbles I left on it!

Not a fan
The install is terrible. Plenty of material but takes much longer than expected and the instructions are not very clear. For the cost and effort I'd probably go the hydro dip route in the future.

Beretta Shotgun- Be careful Purchasing this Product
Bought it to wrap my Beretta A300. Took my time wrapping and heating the product as the video prescribed, but with all the curves and indentations on the stock and receiver, the product didn't apply very well and folds and creases formed, especially around the stock handle. For the price paid, I thought it would adapt to the curves better, it did not. Fairly disappointed with the end product. Ended up peeling it off and leaving A300 black.
