Hi, I was nervous to buy this as I read the chalk pens don't rub off - and they were right! However I used a magic eraser sponge (the ones you use for marks on walls) and it removed the chalk pen marks completely.So the board is useable and perfect - I love it! So anyone thinking of buying, just make sure you have a magic eraser sponge to use to remove the chalk pen writing each time you want to change it.

I love the board and I used it when my baby girl turned 1 month I can’t wait to use it when she’s 2 months

A lot bigger than expected shame it doesn’t come with a magnetic back but I just bought some and stuck them on the pens they recommend with this board stain the board so have had to buy chalk board paint to paint over stains!

Got this for my daughter's first birthday party, and absolutely love it. Wish of seen it sooner and could have used it each month., but can use it for every birthday from now on. I havent used the chalk, I bought chalk pens as they stand out more, but that's my own personal preference. Also, the board is lovely and big, so you can get quite alot on it without having to write small.

Bought for our daughter and son in law to use. They love it and have already filled the board in and setit up beside their 3 month old daughter, then photographed her. Wanted to get a board like that when I saw our American niece using one every month beside her baby. Fun and a great record of baby's progress.

i'm really disappointed. This doesn't seem to be a chalkboard as chalkpens have stained it making it unusable. its also a lot bigger than expected, which i could have lived with had this been an actual blackboard that you could reuse. I have left a similar review for the chalk pens that were recommended to go with this, either one or both items are faulty and should not be used together.

Great concept and was originally very pleased with my purchase but I used the chalk pens that Amazon shows as ‘frequently bought together’ and they do not rub off the board so I’m now left with a board I can no longer use. Very frustrating.

Came as described except the top corner of the chalk board was chipped. No damage to the exterior of the box though.

this is totally worth it I was gifted this for my first child and I went out and bought it for my second because it's so cute just to look up and see those memories

Chalk pens do not work on this, and plain chalk was too light for my liking. I taped over the print and sprayed it twice with chalkboard paint and I write on it, take a pic and erase it immediately or else it will stain.

I must reiterate my headline, this item was an add on & the price was awesome. I saw the same Pearhead Milestone Chalkboard in Buy Buy Baby for $20 more than I paid! The price was so good I thought that it would not be the same product but it absolutely was!!

Die Tafel kam sehr schnell und ist genau wie beschrieben. Die Kreide waren richtige Stückchen und keine Stifte. Bei Wochenwechsel wische ich die Tafel nass ab und dann ist alles wieder hübsch.
