It did exactly as advertised to begin with.
An intercom was being installed in a minibus because the Covid 19 barrier made sound communication difficult between driver and child minder in the back. The two way intercom lead was not long enough until extended by the product.Unfortunately the main connection of the three (where braiding is normally attached) went open circuit after a few weeks, requiring a separate external wire link between the main body of the two end connectors.

Does the job very well
Does the job with no noticeable difference in sound quality compared to the 1m official Sennheiser extention I was using for my HD25 Lights New Versions. It is built well too. I only use it for gaming so I can't comment on music quality. Happy I went for this instead of the more expensive ones.

Depends what you want it for
Cable quite thick/stiff - not great for connecting headphones but may be fine for other uses.Sound quality OK but on my phone sometimes I get a buzzing noise when the phone is plugged in and charging. This does not happen if I connect headphones without using this extension.

Ideal when stuck in a hospital bed wanting to listen to the radio.
I attend a dialysis unit for about 5 hours, three times a week, and they have the great facility for me to listen to either a TV (freeview), radio, or my cellphone audible books. This cable ensures that I can use the hospital socket. It makes a huge difference to what otherwise would be my just laying there bored for a long time.
