Embark Pets Zion Dog Rope Leash - Made from 100% Cotton, Leashes for Small Medium and Large Dogs (4 FT, Beige)

I haven't had a 4' leash before, but I really like this length. I can keep our dog close on walks, but it's still long enough for her to smell around while I'm still on the sidewalk. The rope style is different, and it's very classy, though I'm afraid of how well it will hold up. The description says it's durable and for hiking, but I let the leash drag for a little bit one time (we practice walking off leash with it dragging sometimes), and the cotton frayed and the leather scratched off (see photo). Anyone who treats their leashes more carefully shouldn't have this issues. The 4' length should also prevent it from scraping the ground during walks. I do wish the was a more useful loop, like to hang waste bags from. There is a small loop that holds the Embark logo, which is nice, but that's about all it's good for. I really like the classy look of the leash, but I wish it had an extra attachment loop, and I have a feeling I'll have to treat it delicately.

Hello all!I am a product tester for embark pets so this is an honest review. I really like this leash, it is really strong and well made. The rope is very comfortable but if your dog is not well trained on a leash i can see how the rope would irritate your wrist or hand. My dog is well trianed so i had no issues with this, but I see the potential issue. I really enjoy using this leash I've tested many rope leashes for other companys and this is my favorite!! I recommend this leash!

Nice look, but very uncomfortable to use. I didn’t like the handle and the leash made the genuinely nervous to use at times—the leather bound points would occasionally show stretching and tearing at the seams. I eventually got rid of it as a precaution since I didn’t believe it would hold up with enough resistance.

I bought this leash because it looked like it would be durable also it was cute and different from other dog leashes . Unfortunately I was only able to use it once. The first and only time I used it the stitching came apart and the rope was fraying. I’m afraid to use it again because I don’t want my dog to get loose. In the trash it goes.

I love this leash! It's strong but still flexible, not stiff. And it's gorgeous! I like that it's a little shorter than our other leashes since when we use this it will be more in public when my dogs need to "look presentable"

Review: I love the design and craftsman ship of the collar/leash combo, they look very nice together. The material is soft and comfortable in your hands, and the hardware is sturdy for dogs that pull. I also like the length of the leash, it's not so long that you need to loop it around your wrist several times to stay in control if your dog. I am giving it a 4 out of 5 stars because the material is very soft and my large/determined dog could chew his way out of it quickly if given the opportunity.

This is a great short lead.If you happen to have a brown dog, you're gonna love the look of the Beige and Brown leather. When I put my dog, Quinn on this, she knows it's fancy time and she behaves accordingly!This is a nice leash when you want your dog close by and not wandering off. The leather is stitched well, and has held up well for our short walks with this...the clasp is strong, and I don't worry about her pulling too hard on it.I would recommend this for all your short leash needs.

After about a week of using this leash, it’s become unraveled on the handle. Very low quality and disappointed with this purchase. I would appreciate a refund and/or replacement leash.
