Superlux HD681 Wired Semi Open Headphone Without Mic (Black)

I bought them for around 2K and they are totally worth it. Good sound quality, decent noise cancellation. They are open back, so people around you can hear the sound coming out of the headphones. So, if you are ok with it, go ahead and give them a try.

Bought this on the 12th of January as my Rs 15k sennheisers went weary and I needed a great pair of headphones in the low budget I had cause I setup a home studio and mom wouldn't allow me to spend any more. These headphones turned out to be the best I had ever tried yes even better than those sennheisers. You can feel the beauty of the songs your listening dripping into your ears. These are serious audiophile quality headphones and are the best for any kind of usage. The comfort, the sound quality consisting of the lows, mids and highs is unmatchable believe me. You won't have a better option in this price range and I'm saying this cause I now do own a hell lot of headphones

Best in this price segment.Not bass heavy, have balanced sound.Good sound stage.I get chills down my spine listening to Zappelin, Sabbath etc.Ear cushions are a bit hard, some might find them uncomfortable for longer durations.

They are a delight especially at this price range.although the ear cups are not very comfortable for long usage, the sound stage of these open back headphones is widespread.Definitely worth it.

These are by far the best sounding headphones in this price range. The audio Technica m20x are good but they have too high impedance so you cannot use your phone to listen to music from them. And these are semi open back so the soundstage is also amazing. And these don't even create too much pressure on ears like boat 430. The earcups are quite large but that is the main selling point of this headphones as these are over ear.

Sound is very good, bass response etc is superb, BUT headphone is quite uncomfortable to use. And that is a deal breaker because no matter how good they sound, if I can't wear them for more than 5mins then what use is that? I have tried loosening them by stretching them around some books, but I guess it is not about their tightness but the fact that they surround the ears so closely. Feels like someone is clamping down on my head from both sides. I am not sure if its an issue with just this headphone or if I would feel the same with ALL the big over the ear headphones. But these ARE uncomfortable. Maybe crappy cushions are at fault.

Superlux HD681 doesn't feel like premium neither poor product. It doesn't have a great audiophile sound signature but it can be obtain by equalizer. It has v shaped sound signature so obviously I am going to listen it with equalizer, and also going to change earpads. Also it is semi open type headphones so you can't get isolation in this headphone. Generally it is good for gaming and watching movies because of sound stages.
