Shark IONFlex DuoClean Cordless Ultra-Light Vacuum, Green (Renewed)

I purchased this as a refurbished product...and it works fine. The service was exceptional and product packaged well. I did Not however, research this product well enough prior to purchase.Good: The system is easy to maneuver and collects dirt well. The best feature for me, was the flexibility of the stick which gives me the ability to vacuum under beds and other furniture. The accessories are nice and give you the ability to use the hand-held vacuum for detail work in an easy fashion. The battery appears to last longer than my needs, so no issues there.Cons: It's clumsy. The upper unit is top heavy and for storage, you have to hold down a button and bend the unit over. It does not stay upright...unless you lean it against something. My previous Shark was lighter and like a broom, and my 81 year old Mother could use it easily, if necessary. She can't use this one...to many buttons; too top heavy and can't seem to balance the movement. The unit is also like a puzzle...lots of buttons to disconnect and bend things. Finally, the dirt collection goes into a small, clear container located on the upper segment. To clean you press a button and hold the canister over the trash can. There is No way to disconnect this segment for cleaning. So as hard as you try to keep it looking clean....it's a vacuum cleaner and looks dirty.Love Shark and have had great success with their products. This isn't my favorite, nor would I Suggest it to a friend.

This vacuum is even better than I expected. The run time on regular suction is incredible. It works so great on my wood and ceramic tile floors. Then I pull of the the top, but on the brush attachment and do my wooded steps and bathroom. The price for this item was definitely a great value, when comparing to a similar Shark (new) and Dyson. Plus, it came with attachments, which some similar vacuums do not. I would definitely make sure that attachments come with this type of vacuum. I also use it in my car and truck (on high power). It gives just enough time to clean one vehicle. I also purchased one of these for my daughter to use at her new house. She also loves it. Upon my recommendation, my sister also purchased one for her wood floors. As far as using on carpeting goes, I would recommend only using on a flat, large area rug or carpets that are really flat. I still use a regular vacuum for cleaning regular carpets. You also need to make sure that you are cleaning the rotating brush head of head, etc. about every-other time you use it.

Bought the refurbished Shark IonFlex. Just assembled it and tried it out. For some reason the brushes wouldn't start out when powered ON. I let it stand for a bit while I was figuring out why it wasn't working. Turned it ON and they started working. Don't know what that was. Fully charged bettery lasted 20min on max power. Gave me enough time to vacuum about 600 sqft. That included 8x10 area rug and the rest hardwood floor. Very easy to maneuver and switch out the base with other attachments. Love how easy the base comes off while vacuuming to get to corners. Also like the clear rubber bumper in front, prevents black marks and dents on the base trim. Will post updates when used a bit longer.Update: use it on daily bases almost 3 months, still love it, no issues.

Wow! I had no idea I would love a vacuum so much. Maybe I'm getting old :( haha... But seriously, the mechanical rollers pick up dust and the 2nd front roller pulls lint away from wall-floor corners. Easy to push and turn. Very easy to pull apart. As a handheld, it is a pleasure to use. The battery lasts about 30 min, which is impressive considering it runs the mechanical rollers AND suction. It also has a high power mode for that extra boost. It did have some issues picking up larger debris from my shag carpet, but not really built for that. Excellent on the floor and short carpet. I LOVE my Shark and will be recommending this to friends. Also, I called the seller to ask if it included a battery as the listing for the Refurbished model I ordered said "Battery: Required." The Support Rep was extremely friendly and investigated to ensure that it indeed did include a battery. Rest assured, the Refurbished model includes a battery, but you will need to charge for ~1 hour when you receive it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product, but know it will run only 20-30 min on a full charge and that will decrease over time, as all batteries do. Absolutely love this vacuum! The battery lasts for about half an hour on low suction and 15 minutes on high suction. I've had it for almost a year now, and the suction power is still going pretty strong for just a battery powered vacuum. I also love the fact that it has a bendable neck so you can reach under a bed, or any other bottom surface that a regular vacuum can't do. The accessories are great for any corner or crevice that is normally hard to reach, it even has a pet hair attachment. It's easy to clean and also has a dust filter for fine particle dust. Really great product definitely recommend for anyone who wants a cordless vacuum.

Our old, corded vacuum could go over a piece of fuzz from a dog toy half a dozen times without picking it up. This cordless unit picks everything up. The carpet has never looked better. It's lightweight at about 6 lbs, making it easy to transport from room to room and floor to floor. Battery life is not an issue. The vacuum can be used in a multitude of configurations. The shaft can be removed and the vacuum can be attached directly to the power head to use in a car. Attachments are easy to attach and use. The dust cup is not very big, but to me hasn't been an issue. This was a great deal at $148 for the reconditioned model.
