Q: So my understanding is this i supply the computer, screen and controls and everything else is there like the glass and wood?

Correct, you'll need to provide your own computer or arcade game board, monitor and controls. There's also no printed assembly manual with the kit, you'll need to download a pdf. I downloaded one from holland computers website.My kit differed from the manual in a few ways, for instance, the kit comes with rails and a shelf you'll have to use if installing a CRT computer monitor, but my kit didn't have pre-drilled holes for the cam pegs. It didn't matter to me, since I was using a panel mount LCD, but if you're using a CRT and have to use the shelf, you may need to disassemble the kit after determing the mounting point in order to get the shelf installed square and true.The control panel top comes pre-drilled as shown, however, there are no pilot holes provided for securing the joysticks, so you'll either have to use short wood screws on the underside to mount them, or drill all the way through and use machine screws and nuts. I used wood screws since I didn't want to risk chipping the black melamine on the outside while drilling through it.The kit comes with a bezel optimized for an LCD monitor and a piece of plexiglass for the table top. However, though the manual does talk about spacers and screws for installing it, none were provided. The plexiglass is very thin and warps easily from the monitor's heat and will scratch easily.By right, I should write a review, but I'm dissappointed with the construction quality of this kit.

Does not come with controls its just the cabinet.

This ad is for the cabinet only, all other parts would need to be purchased.

Q: Is there a ready-to-assemble upright cabinet available?

Yes, we now have an upright cabinet available. It is only available for purchase on our website as it has to ship assembled and goes LTL truck on a pallet. Unfortunately it is to large to send UPS or FedEx. You can also call us to order as well.
