Great series for hesitant boy readers
This is THE ONLY SERIES my youngest son has read, independently. All my other children are eager readers, but it's been so hard to find something he likes- this "Bad guys" series is full of little boy humor, goofiness, and fun. Not to be considered great quality lit- but definitely thankful for this series, motivating my kid to read!

Good books
My son wasn't much of a reader, ( we had some problems getting him to read outside of class/ sometimes during class) even though he was reading above his grade level. Then I read reviews on this series.... I'm so happy!!! I bought the first 5 for Christmas for my son, he read them in 2 days!!!! I couldn't believe what I was seeing! I immediately went on Amazon and bought the rest of the series! There are 12 books (currently out) in this series and its becoming a DreamWorks movies. This series has jump started a love for reading and for books that every parent wants their kid to have.

Forty two thumbs up
I like the illustrations that enhance the words of the story. It is a funny and well told story with lots of action. I highly recommend this for 2nd and 3rd graders.Written by a 3rd grader

A hit with my six year old!
I wasn't sure if a book series calle "Bad Guys" is what my sometimes naughty six year old needed but I was wrong. It is about a squad of "bad guys" who want to be good guys and struggle to make that happen, there is always something that challenges them, almost defeats them and ultimately brings them together to try and save the world one more time.Lots of naught, fart jokes, poop jokes, and silly things going on. It is written like a graphic novel.comic book. I love how much he loves it and I have developed a whole range of voices for each character.Just finished 10 can't wait for 11.

My 6.5 year old son loves these but be aware of some language
My 6.5 year old son LOVES the Bad Guy books which has sparked a love of books for him. The only issue I have with these books is saying “unkind” words like dumb, stupid, sucks, etc but it was a great opportunity to teach him that he is going to hear unkind words like this all the time and it’s all how he reacts. We need to teach our children how to react in situations instead of running to tell a parent/teacher a book says stupid. Teaching them young will hopefully help as they get older. When I was young, they were BAD words and I would get in trouble if I said them but I didn’t understand why they were bad words. As I got older, I was more tempted to use those words because they were outlawed. Kids ask a million questions because they WANT to learn and it’s up to us adults to teach them why the world is the way it is without 100% sugarcoating it.

Love this series
My third graders love this series. I usually buy them at thrift stores but I didn’t have this one so I bought off of Amazon. Arrived quick and very good value. Now my collection is complete.
