Sterling NLG101 Standard Deadlocking Nightlatch - Grey

My back door has a normal lock but I decided that a more secure lock would be better. I chose this ne as it can be deadlocked from outside so that even if the window beside it was broken the lock was still secure.The instructions are on a very small piece of paper but they are clear and adequate. Provided measurements are accurate.You will need a power drill and a 32mm hole saw to make the hole for the key part of the lock. Starting from scratch it took me about 40 minutes to do the job which included trips to the workshop for extra tool, e.g I needed a small cutting disc in a mini drill to shorten the piece that enters the main part of the lock.In all basically quick and simple to fit and all measurements were accurate.

Not the best of quality but it works

Used for a wooden back gate, fit well, sprayed loads of WD40 inside to prevent rust, but seems well-made and works as it should do. Note for people who don't usually fit these things: when the instructions say to mount the metal back plate first, don't make the mistake i made, and remove the actual lock's steel backplate...the instructions are talking about the small, rounded metal plate, that covers the inside side of the 32mm hole drilled to mount the lock barrel part.

Rubbish, now broeken in a few months.

Fits well. Good price. Better than expected.

It works alright. Fits as a replacement at a reasonable price but the knob assembly feels loose as though it is missing a spacer. Probably just the level of quality you would expect for the price.
