One Man 32 Inch Crosscut Saw, Unsharpened

Some others complain that saw is not sharpened. This is a non-issue as anyone would have to learn how to sharpen the saw anyway (as it gets more use/wear/tear). I sharpened this saw in about two beers (maybe 20 minutes). Cuts like a dream through green (current season) birch and one year seasoned black locust. Update: I felled a tree with 14” diameter at the stump. No problems.

This saw is unsharpened, but the teeth appear to be set correctly, left and right. Look at youtube on how to sharpen great american saws and you will learn. Basically I sharpened middle teeth normal and the end rakers I sharpened as cutting teeth as well. It cuts wood fine. The saw looked shiny when new but seemed to develop rust pits while sitting in my tool room over the summer. I sanded the rust off and treated with WD40. Good now for Armageddon.

Very good saw if u take the time to sharpen it, it comes unsharpened but much cheaper than the other cross cut saws with good quality steel, I'm cutting burl slabs and very happy with this saw
