Great scraper
These are a bit smaller than I expected, and quite lightweight. However, they work perfectly for scraping a hog. I saw a video recently where the person was using an item like this for fleshing a hide in the tanning process, and I'll be testing them for that too.

Make sure your water temperature is on the money or you will have a hard time too much or two less
Works well

Better than scraping tool
While this is cheap, it is also inexpensive. It does what it says it does and works at breaking down the flesh. Have only used on a bobcat but it seems as though it will work for multiple uses/applications. Worth buying.

It works.
This works as a advertised. I used the scraper on a 150lb hog and this got the hair off just fine. I would have liked a different method to attach the disks rathern than the small nut and Philip's head bolt this uses as it can be frustrating to get the nut tight enough to stay put.

Doesn't stay sharp to complete the job
It worked great for doing half a pig, but then was so dull it wouldn't strip the hair any longer on the pig after scalding!

Missing parts
Missing the nut so I couldn't use it when I got it.

Time ssaver when scraping
I bought a couple of these for a hog butchering. It made the scraping go really fast. I will be buying 2 more.

Worked fine
My immediate impression when I opened it was, the bells are to loose. But that considered, I took it apart and put a few coats of a food grade protective oil on the handle. When dried I put it back together with locktight on the threads. It functioned perfectly.

The flesher/hog scraper is nice. Fits the hand, comfortably. Not been used yet, but, seems sturdy enough for it's purpose. At £23.28, it's a bit too pricey for what it is, though. But, I couldn't find one elsewhere.

love it works good had one years ago

Would highly suggest buying some other brand. This is 50 cent worth of wood and steal and did not work good at all. Will get a better scrapper then this next year.

another waste of money, ended up skinning pigs as bell scraper does not work.
