Hobbyboss1:48 Scale F-105G Thunderchief Model Kit (Grey)

Before I built this I gave it 4 stars. After building it it’s 2 stars. This model just fights you, the very detailed bits like the gun and the engine, are pointless because there is no way without scratch building something you could show them. The fit isn’t very good, there is a biblical amount of ejector pin marks in visible areas like the landing gear doors and that’s before I get to the really bad stuff. The instructions and painting guide are a joke. For a 40cm plus 1/48 monster they are vague and terrible. For a model this complex they only have handful of stages with really poor and wrong paint call outs. I have had my patience severely tested with this to the point where I nearly abandoned the project. It’s not unbuildable and it’s the only 1/48 Thud on the market so if you want one, buy it, but have a big tube of filler, a top notch re-scribing tool and some good sanders you are going to need them!! No wonder I could not find any of the you tube elite modellers building this. Hobby boss please re tool this it’s daft!! And you spoiling an iconic aircraft.

Wow never scene this plane before, and it's a bueaty, big two seater,Honestly I'll get the single seater two.Can't fault the price,they are so tempting. Must buy.
