326 Viro-Sol Citrus Based Cleaner/Degreaser, 5 L, Pack of 1

Re-decced the exterior of our house over yhe last 2 summers and used this extensively for prep and cleaning of brushes with water based paints. Works great, though did seem to stiffen synthetic filament brushes so maybe worth testing dilution strength ? Where it really shines is surface prep, cuts through grime/particulates effortlessly. I had a bike to service recently and you could almost see the gunk dissolving instantly. However I think maybe cheap citric acid powder (culinary stuff in packets) is more effective on rusty parts. Overall great stuff and 5 litres goes a looong way

Viro Sol was recommended as a paint brush cleaner by a decorator. It has restored several brushed that were completely gummed up. Many other used too. It’s not cheap, but better that wasting money on something that doesn’t work.

Absolutely brilliant for removing sticky residue. Smells good too.

Wear gloves and even goggles when handling. Used in my new ultrasonic cleaner for bike parts. Works very well. Rinse off bike parts and wipe down before inserting into ultrasonic. Add water and this degreaser, heat, turn on and in 12-15 mins you have new parts.

Used neat with old toothbrush to soften paint on electrical cables. Also tried on patio slabs 50/50 mix. does the job. Also good for upvc window frames etc. In my opinion, Better than sugar soap & well worth the money.

I do not know how this stuff is made but what I will say is that it’s the only stuff I’ve ever known to remove dried emulsion paint!!! That stuff is impervious to everything…apart from this!!! It can be diluted down massively too for a light cleaning product. Great stuff!!

I've been using this stuff for several years since I watched it practically devouring spilled used engine oil. I always dilute it. In a spray bottle I use it all over the house: kitchen, bathroom, walls, floor, ceiling, and even windows. I spray it on stained laundry before it goes in the machine, and on frying pans or oven trays the minute the food is out and while the tray is still hot, I leave it to cool and then all the gunk comes off in the washing up. I add it to a bucket of water and and soak tea towels in it or use it to wash my van, inside and out. I literally do not buy any other type of cleaner. But you do need to remember to dilute it!
