Road Passion Starter Solenoid Relay for Honda CBF250 CBF500 ABS CBF600 2004 CRF250X 2004-2012 CMX250 Rebel 1996 - UP

Somebody had some brain damage when they tried re-install the solenoid starter relay on my 2006 VFR800. I decided to replace the wiring because bare wires were exposed that when touched, completed the circuit and activated the starter motor, separated by only a little plastic divider. If the wires touched, while riding, the bike would just short circuit and stop. Power was tested, current was flowing and a friend and I repaired and prevention of the possibility of future crossed wiring using heatshrink tubing resulting in physical separation of these wires and I completing decided to buy a new solenoid relay. but after installing this brand new part, there was no current passing to the ignition, or the starter motor. We put the old one back in, after having had to re-invent the part because it had stripped threads etc... I turned the key, and *Kapoww* everything fired up immediately and is now it is completely in order, and I tossed this piece of junk in the trash.

Well... it does work but it didn't fix my issue.. there's something else going wrong. Bought my son a 2014 Honda CRF125FB. Electric start didn't work. Bought a battery, and during troubleshooting, found the starter worked great but something was keeping it from trying to start. Thought there was a safety on the clutch (maybe there is...) so I jumped those two wires and nothing... starting from square one tomorrow..

Did not fit correctly on my 2000 VFR.I should have compared my part to the advertised pic. It's a cheap part that most likely would have worked fine. Bought another cheap part that fits (well enough) and yes, works fine.

Found out that after long rides... the fuse in this might melt! Mine did. This unit is currently functioning +1000 miles in a working 250 rebel.

This Relay is Junk. It will randomly stick on, or stay closed until you forcfully hit it. Its a huge saftey, and equipment hazard, because the starter will engage even while youre driving, and drains even a new battery completely. Dont buy this.
