Skylanders Trap Team: Element Value Trap Pack (8 Traps)

I purchased these for my son and he was ecstatic! It is a better price to get them bundled like this, than to purchase them separately. All you really need still is the Kaos trap, which we finally found one not too long ago at a Best Buy.

Traps work as they should. The 1 star reviews are a laugh. You complain traps are a gimmick to take your money. So are the toys since this series first came out. You say Disney Infinity is better...wait a game which requires the base game, playsets, figures and optional power discs to make up a full game is a better alternative? At least Skylander has the whole game. Amiibo?...you can't even play as anything using them. A pretend toy friend at best and a dlc unlocker at worst. Above and beyond if you don't like or agree with this product. Simply don't buy it.

Good product. Shipped quickly, and the price was good at $39.99. Roughly $40 for a pack of 8 traps that would normally sell for $6 each is a bargain, and as a bonus you get an exclusive steamed version of Broccoli guy already trapped in the life trap. I would not however purchase this product at it's current price ($63), as it would just be cheaper to purchase the traps individually, particularly seeing as how you get the Water and Life traps included in the starter pack for the game. For those parents who are as yet unaware, there do seem to be a lot of scalpers who purchase vast quantities of particular Skylanders Trap Team items and then sell them at inflated prices.

My grandsons loved it. They had been asking for more traps for a while. I wish that I understood how this game worked. All I know is that I am the best grandma.

Price was too high at $75, but where else can you go to get all the traps these days. The image is not what arrived, what arrived was 8 individual trap packages. Which is not horrible, but also not what is shown. Beyond this, the shipping took much longer than expected as a prime member. All that said, the traps work as expected, no defects to the individual packaging and nothing missing.

Great product for my son, as now he can TRAP every villain except KAOS. Product came in the mail fast, and it has lived up to all of our expectations.

My son begged for Skylanders for Christmas. Got him both Swap Force and Trap Team. At the time, Trap Team cost $79.99 for the "starter kit". Quickly learned you had to keep buying new characters just to play the game. Between Trap Team & Swap Force - plus all the additional characters, including Enchanted Hoot Loop, invested roughly $250+ on Skylander merchandise. It didn't take long for my son to tire of the game. Worse, my 9-year-old son decided he didn't want the Skylanders anymore, so we took all the stuff to Game Stop (which buys used games and gaming equipment. Received $0.25 store credit for Swap Force. 25 CENTS! Received $1.50 for Trap team!. Game Stop only wanted the game discs. Didn't want the portals, the trap pieces, nor any of the characters that came with the kits. The various characters such as Enchanted Hoot Loop, Jade Fire Kraken, Wash Buckler, etc., fetched 50 cents to $2.00. In total, he ended up with about $15 in store credit. Skylanders - a HUGE ripoff!! Activision's Skylanders is a HUGE ripoff. Each trap can hold only 2 "villains", yet there are numerous villains in the game, thus you are forced into buying additional traps. But when your child tires of the game and decides to trade it in - guess what? The traps are WORTHLESS!!!

Instead of receiving an 8 pack as advertise i got a 3 pack and 5 individual packs. I wanted it for collection so that beat the porpuse. Also some of the individual packs came open.

As advertised and on time. Very happy.

Price was decent enough as expected from a nearly 10 year old game series that hasn't seen a new gamer or resurgence since 2016. only gripe is that it wasn't the product as pictured, instead all that was delivered was a standard 5 pack followed by 3 other trap figures in zip lock bags. Other than than that Traps work fine no issues.
