Basix Double Pointed Needles 8-Size 13/9mm

Smooth and lightweight DP needles. Don't be put off by the Basix" description. I like them even better than my bamboo needles.

The bamboo is very smooth. The yarn does not sil off them easier if you are using slippery yarn.

I just got them and have not had a chance to use them yet. I'm going to make mittens with them.

Yarn doesn’t slide on these

It was easy to knit with and my stitches didn’t slip as much.

These DP needles are smooth and easy to work with. I don't use DP needles often, but when I do I hope they all work as well as this set.

My favorite feature of these needles is the fact that they are not slippery which is very important for double points. The yarn still is easy to work and to slide off the needles when you are working it but is not constantly trying to slide off the needle on the backside, dropping stitches. They are lightweight and easy to use. Although I am a lifelong knitter, I had never used double points and proceeded to knit 5 hats in record time.

The double pointed neadles were just what I neaded to knit hats with no seams. I just have to be sure to keep them away from my dog likes to chew
