These are built to stand the test of time
I've built and repaired several fences with these oz posts and they are far superior to other brands I've tried using in the past, the welded joints literally withstand pressure from any fence angle in a way other brands will simply fail to deliver. In fact, I made the mistake of under purchasing and bought two over the counter options to in fill and that side of one of my fences will bend in a light breeze. You won't be disappointed.

disapointed
it is almost impossible to get the anchor to go into the ground straight. I carefully lined it up with the other posts using a line to guide placement but when pounding the anchor into the ground is shifts, turns and tilts. I had to redo them several times pulling them out to try again which only made it worse. Would not recommend this approach. My fence is not straight and I may have to start over. Cost me about 140 dollars for six of anchors.

Strong post support but...
I've put 40 of these in for my fence so far and what the other poster has said is true, these tend to twist as they go in the ground. Mostly depending on how you put them in. I've been using a sledgehammer and in order to keep the twist at a minimum, I first hammer them in as far as I can go with an 8 pound chisel hammer, which is basically a mini sledgehammer. I check the level about every 5 hits until it doesn't feel like I'm getting anymore force, then I use a 20 lb sledge to finish it. About 50% of them have some sort of twist, which I've managed to fix with the 2x4s that I use before putting up the pickets.Pros:- These suckers hold. I had my 200 lb neighbor climb up on a post and try and swing around and it wouldn't budge.- Much easier than digging a hole and putting concrete in.- Easy to level. Even if you don't quite get them leveled after they are in the ground, you can level them using screws through the 16 screw ports.Cons: Again, the slight twist that sometimes occurs. You can get around the slight skew when you put in your support 2x4s, but of course, it takes a little bit more work and patience.Bottom line: I'm content (not ecstatic, of course) with the final result and will more then likely use them again.

Great system for fences and decks
I have used a bunch of these for fences. I installed them with an electric jackhammer and did not have any problem getting them in straight. You can do a fair amount of plumb adjustment by holding the wood post in plumb position while installing the screws to secure the post. Planning to use them with the load bearing plates to support a modular storage building. My wife and I installed a couple of hundred feet of split rail fence in about an hour and a half. I prepped the split rail posts to fit the the square sleeves in advance. Great product!
