Cool model car
I like this model kit. Arrived fast in a secure box. factory clear wrapper intact. Movie car model ready for assembly. Molded in white plastic, clear and chrome plated parts. Decals depict from the movie Grease. Hope that the red car seen in the movie will be made available soon. Thank you

Awesome!
Awesome model! Turned out great. Decals were very easy to deal with where I’ve had problems with others.

Tough but Awesome
First, a warning to those who don't know, this is a level 5 model and is therefore a higher level of difficulty. There are tiny pieces that are tough to handle and the instructions are not very well drawn, especially for those smaller parts. There are plenty of photos of completed models online to help you figure out exactly how to configure the smaller pieces. That said, this is a sweet kit. I bought one and then received another as a gift (manage your wishlists, folks!), so I did the same as that other reviewer and made the Karate Kid car as well as the Grease car, both '48 Ford Supers. As it is a 2-in-1 kit, it includes the parts for a number of variations. Parts of the build were a chore, like the lightning decals, but ultimately worth it to get the desired result.Warning: You will find yourself suddenly blurting out lyrics while building it and realize that we should never have been singing along to this song as kids. 😁(Everything was painted with Tamiya acrylics, except Vallejo light yellow mixed with white for that pastel yellow on the Karate Kid car. Yeah, I know Daniel's car had whitewalls but I was too lazy to strip the chrome wheels.)

A lot of fun to build
If you are like me, this particular model has extra sentimental value simply because it is Greased Lightening. So far I have really enjoyed building this model. The details are great, instructions are easy to follow and it takes the paint nicely. I've added the pictures I have so far and will update when It is finished. I didn't have Ford Engine Blue so I substituted with Peacock Blue. The only issue I have with this model so far, is that a few of the pieces are just too small and will not stay put no matter what you do. For me, attaching the rear view mirror to the windshield was simply impossible and I've had to abandon the mirror. Plus, in attempting to attach the mirror, the glue permanently smudged the windshield. So now it looks foggy. So I recommend you don't even try the mirror. Also, the gas and brake pedals are next to impossible to attach. Although I have managed to keep one attached, the other just keeps falling off. However, those are very minor issues and most likely won't even be noticeable to anyone other than the builder.Overall, this model is most definitely worth buying and I actually intend to buy it again so I can put it together with the proper paint colors, a clear windshield and the experience of having built it once already.

“Wax-on, wax off” Built Karate Kid Style
I was looking for models that brought back some nostalgia. Though I love the movie Grease, I got this model because the car model also appears in another movie - The Karate Kid. Mr. Miyagi gifted Daniel a yellow ford deluxe convertible. Though the model is advertised as a custom modded ford (greased lighting), it also included the stock parts (much to my delight). I reviewed the film and researched images to make it as exacting to Miyagi’s car as possible. I made this to give to a friend who was an avid fan as well.First revell car model I’ve done (I’ve done A couple other brands prior), but the kit fits together nicely. It’s beautiful and timeless. Only issue was the front tires were a little tricky to fit the way the instructions said.I loved making the model so much, I may get it again!
