This is my very first security cam and I had no trouble setting this up at all. It comes with the AC adapter, a micro USB cable, mounting and mounting screws. All I had to do to set this up, is download the app, make sure that my cam and the device I downloaded the app is on the same network, and run through the setup.I had a spare micro SD card which I plugged in. Initially I had to reformat the card which is done through the Ebit Cam application. The camera recognized the card soon after I reformated the card.The picture of the camera is very clear. You are able to rotate the camera through the app, take pics, and also do recordings. The only issue that I found is that if you are rotating the camera while recording, the recording will lag and not show the camera movement. Once the cam stops, then it will start recording again. Unsure if this is the case for other cameras as well. Again this is the first security cam that I have owned.One other question I had and emailed tech support about, is that I tested the camera without an internet connection. I had my tablet and also the camera connected to the same WiFi network. I would think that the camera should still be able to function since I'm still connected to the same network, however, the camera won't connect. I just emailed them and waiting on a response. I'm just curious to see why an internet connection is always needed especially as if I'm still connected to the same network, I should be able to operate the camera locally without an internet connection. Well those are just my thoughts. Once I get a response, I'll be sure to update this review with what I find.

Ebitcam website is really good and the tech support was great in the one instance of contacting them.All the features and functions on the sales site seemed to work as described, though I'm still learning the product.I have purchased four different mid-priced WiFi cameras over the past few months - looking for the best product. This Ebitcam E2 would be in the running for top spot based on features and functions, as well as customer support. I had a question, sent an email to their SUPPORT email and had a useful answer, in English, in less than one business day. Thus far two features stand out compared to the other cameras: the ability to adjust motion sensitivity separately for light and dark conditions with granularity, and the flexibility for storing videos on an internal SD card OR a subscription cloud (very reasonable pricing), OR a network Cloud Box - think networked hard-drive with special NVR features. The Cloud Box is not included.I use WiFi to my Frontier FiOS router to connect to the camera over the Internet; Ethernet wired connection to your router is also available. WiFi setup was pretty straight-forward. As stated in literature, the camera will only link to 2.4 G WiFi. I use WPA2 WiFi security and had no issues.Video quality is good day and night and camera movement is responsive. The camera makes a little noise when moved but VERY little, much less than my second favorite camera.The two-way audio is adequate for this price-range of camera.Possibly not-so-great (still learning) functions/features/stuff:The small manual that is packed with the camera is not very useful, BUT - the manual you can download from the Ebitcam.com website is quite detailed and useful. I strongly recommend downloading and reading that before/during installation.Download the Ebitcam APP from your favorite APP store directly, don't waste your time trying to work with the QR scan-code in the paper manual.Dismounting the SD card to upload videos to a PC is possible but instructions are not very clear as to how and I have not figured that out so can't comment further.The In-APP process for buying network cloud storage is buggy and unclear. I have made two purchases through PayPal, only one went through and 24 hours later I still have no "code" to enter to activate the storage. Perhaps I can update on this in the near future.The Android motion alarm notification is buggy. At first it didn't work. I emailed tech support and they advised that Notification issues should be resolved with a software update within the next month. I had no problem with alarm notification on my IOS device. After awhile, the Android smartphone (MotoG Play) started working on alarm - still don't know if I did something to fix it or it just started working. Works fine.This camera could benefit from a bit more flexible mounting method. Another camera I purchased in this same price range has a much more useful and flexible (adjustable) mounting arrangement to accommodate odd angles and placement challenges - allowing you to stand-off the camera from the surface.All-in-all, I'm pretty satisfied after three days of use.

This is great camera. I was able to set it up and make it up and running in about 2 min after I opened it. Activation was very straight forward and unlike other cameras that I bought previously was able to connect to my wireless network immediately. The only negative thing is that camera only connects to 2.4 GHz network and can not be connected to 5 GHz network. This is not an issue for me, since the camera is placed pretty far from the router so only 2.4 GHz network has good signal. But for some, who use only 5 GHz network this might be an issue. Picture, day and night are very clear with about 1 second delay, but this is common for all cameras since the signal should travel from camera to router and to the phone. I am very happy with the purchase and hopefully camera will last the long time.

I was pretty impressed by this camera! The box was a little damage when i received but all the components were working fine. The package included the camera, AC adapter, usb cable, mounting screws and an IFU. The process of setting up this camera was a little frustrated but I figured it out pretty quick. There are two things that you need to make sure you do it before the final set up: Change the admin password and always use the 2.4 GHz wireless network. The camera picture quality is 1080P and audio quality is great too. I was able to rotate the camera smoothly and was able to zoom in/out too. There is a 2-4 second video lag, which is not bad once you get used to it. The app works great and you can learn to use it pretty quick. I will keep this running and update my reviews if I come across any issues.Overall I am impressed by the quality as well as features I get from this camera. I would definitely recommend it.

I have owned several of these Wifi cameras, and this is the best I've had yet. It was the easiest to setup and has the best picture clarity. The Android app works well and connects every time and doesn't crash. Setup was easy to follow, and the camera even talked to me to tell me what to do next. The picture quality is great, and I can pan and tilt the camera. I use it to keep an eye on my dog while I'm at work. Overall this is a great camera and I have not had any issues. I would definitely buy again.
