This is a pretty good little kit and the materials are good quality. The cable is plenty thick to use as a guide wire for stringing lights. The tension hooks will make or break or string light project. Get your lights as tight as you can, and then crank the tension hooks from their loosest setting to the desired tightness.Get yourself a little ratchet to tighten up the nuts on the cable clamps. You will hate yourself if you try to use the wrench they included. Same goes for the included screwdriver; just use a large screw driver you probably already have.

I purchased this kit to assist me and my husband hang our cafe lights across our pool. I had a vision and needed to use guide wire for the lights. This kit had everything we needed. After pricing out each individual item, this kit was by far the better value. The cable is covered in a black coating which makes it very difficult to see, which is exactly what I wanted. I wish I would have purchased 2 kits because it looked so good i kept adding more lights. DEFINITELY WOULD BUY AGAIN. See the photo for the finished result.

Bought this product about two years ago and it’s still holding strong. Buy it! Everything you need is in this kit and it’s easy to use. Only thing I’d improve is the quality of the screws…could be better - a couple of them stripped. Overall, happy with it!

Everything I needed to hang my string lights in one package.

I bought this to hand two strings of LED lights from a large canopy tree I have. This kit has it all, well almost... I'd give 5 stars IF the included wrench was the exact size of the nuts. It's like one is metric and the other english or something, they are not a snug fit. The other is that there should be 8 carabiniers instead of 4 for use in a tree. I have to change angles from branch end to branch end so 4 just doesn't cut it for this application. I had to improvise, but I'd rather pay $2-4 more and have 8-10 instead.

Lights made simple. It’s super windy where we live and this made the lights secure.

Received the Smart RSQ kit and hung some lights over the patio. One of the turnbuckles had been manufactured incorrectly, I contacted the vendor and explained the issue. Shortly thereafter the replacement part was delivered to my home.The product uses high quality stainless steel and overall I am pleased with the design and final look of the install.

Kit looks to work great. Only 4 stars because it is 170ft, when most strands come in 24ft or 48ft length. Also, could use some zip ties in the kit. Haven't had much bad weather yet, but looks sturdy enough to withstand.
