Easy to fit and functional
I wasn't sure these would work very well but they do. They're easy to fit and seem to hold the smoke alarm securely.

A bit smaller than I expected, and not as strong magnetically as I hoped but they are fine for smoke alarms. Wish they had holes for screws though.

Perfect solution
These are a great option when you'd rather not drill into ceilings. We had to comply with recent Scottish Government legislation regarding the installation of interconnected smoke/heat alarms and were anxious about drilling into ceilings and causing damage. We bought these sticky magnets and they are an excellent solution with strong adhesive pads and equally strong magnets. Installation was so simple and quick. They've been in place for several weeks and so far there has been loss of adhesion. Thoroughly recommend these.

Seem to do what they promise
Replaced ceiling fittings for smoke and heat alarms that failed after a few days in use. So far seem to be holding well.

Great for putting my new alarms up
I bought these to put up my new alarms they stick to the alarms easily and firmly. They attach to the metal plates on my ceiling very well so .y alarms stay where they belong and not on the floor
