TanmingMen's Thicken Warm Winter Coat Mountain Ski Snowboard Jacket Hooded Parkas

I was never really a fan of Parkas.The only time I'd seen them worn was mostly by middle-aged men in the winter. I was more a fan of tactical clothing that served a purpose. However, I mostly adopted a layering technique that became cumbersome in the long run. So I finally broke down and decided to replace my Peacoat for this.I timed it so that it arrived right at the doorstep of the Polar Vortex. The weather that day ranged from 57 degrees down to 11. I've got to say: I was rather impressed by the coat's ability to handle a range of climates from mildly warm (for fall/winter) to absolute frigid.At noon, the temperature was around 50 and the coat wasn't entirely too warm with a T-Shirt beneath. But as the day progressed, rain began to fall in the form of mild precipitation. With the hood up, the coat absorbed/deflected most of the moisture without much hesitation. As it began to transition to snow, the same level of resistance held up and the fur inside kept me warm without overheating, even as I layered an additional fleece zip-up to the outfitting.By the time the temperatures reached well below freezing, I flipped the hood up and the fur lining kept my head warm throughout like no one's business. It was perfect, functional, and utterly warm.So let's go over the Pros and Cons:Pros:*Insulation is effective under a range of temperatures - from 50 down to 10 degrees (thus far)*Fit is as-is-expected, with me wearing small shirts translating into a small-fit without much variance*The fur is VERY effective, both in the inner jacket and the hood*The sleeves accommodate gloves that wrap around the wrists without much trouble (so long as they're not entirely too thick - like OJ Simpson leather gloves that don't fit)*Plenty of pockets for storage and easy access*The button up collar, which renders the hood entirely more useful if you're walking INTO the wind - which would normally blow it over and expose your ears/head to the cold winds. It doesn't look stupid when other people are freezing cold and you're bundled up tight and laughing at them inside of your head.Cons:*The fur lining would have been spectacular in the regular pockets where your hands go. The lining is the same as the outside of the jacket, which is cold when you first reach into them, but are well-insulated thereafter. Still would have been a nice touch to have them fur-lined (at additional cost - no doubt)*There's a useless tie string for the hood that the button-up neck renders absolutely useless. Mine came loose and was rendered ineffective within a week. The button up collar makes that a production cost that was unnecessary and could have gone towards the fur-lined pockets that I'd have gotten more use out of (I know I'm being petty at this point).Overall Consensus:I love this coat. I regret nothing. The reason it's not five stars? Fur-lined pockets for your hands would have made all the difference.But again, I defer to the second sentence of my overall consensus.

This is of good quality and made well, my only issue is it runs on the small side. Sorry it doesn’t come in 3x or 4x for us big and tall guys but for the average person this is a great coat.

The color wasnt a true black looked like a navy plus the outer material was of poor grade

This coat fits great and is extremely warm. However, I wore it out in the snow and once that snow melted the jacket was pretty wet. I wouldn’t use it as a ski jacket but for regular daily use it’s a great coat!

This jacket has a very good feel for cold days with a fuzzy lining and a nice weight. I really like the color (purchased the green version). The zippers feel solid, though they aren't very smooth feeling, so hopefully they will last for a little while. Two things could make this better: 1) side pockets for hands - I thought there were, but there are only pockets in the front. 2) the hood is a bit undersized, a larger hood would feel more comfortable and be more functional.

I purchased this Tanming coat for my husband after I found out that his regular winter coat is falling apart. It arrived yesterday and he's extremely pleased with it and states that it keeps him warm. He's 5' 7" and roughly about 190lbs, the large size fit him perfectly.I was so impressed with this coat that I ordered one for myself today. I'll try to remember to edit my review once I get to wear it.

Needed bigger size

It is a very nice coat, nice and warm looks very good too once you get all the wrinkles out because it comes in a vacuum sealed bag the wrinkles are so bad it took almost 2 hours of ironing to get out thought I was going to have to return it but they did come out after about 2 hours of ironing

C'est pas une critique simplement trop petit pour moi , mais ce manteau semble tres bien fait ,il est tres léger semble tres chaud et imperméable dommage merci

Produkt ist in China hergestellt und wird aus Amerika geliefert. Für die Qualität ist der Preis eindeutig zu teuer. Gibt bessere Winterjacken für weniger Geld. Nicht kaufen, kann nur davon abraten.
