Excellent guide. ! Well prepared and brilliantly illustrated. The summary on page 64 is very cleverly done. I use it all the time and still manage to find something new to inspire me. It has become my Yoga Bible. I fully recommend it.

A great resource
There is so much to learn in this book. I can see myself using it for years to come!

This book lives up to its title
This is the yoga book I use the most. The explanations for the poses are clear and thoughtful, as well as guiding you towards more demanding poses. Some yoga books can be very rigid in tone, which can be off-putting, but this book manages to strike a good balance between instruction and encouragement. It has a basic and a more advanced practice session chart which I've found invaluable in creating my own routines, as well as helping me to know where to include any new poses. No book can take the place of a class, but this one definitely enhances my home practice.

Not for beginners
Excellent photos and instruction, but I need the poses to be broken down further, so I don't use it much.
