SteelSeries 3H USB Gaming Headset (Black)

When I originally made the purchase, I was a little more than worried. 15 dollars for a gaming headset WITH a mic? I was pretty sure I would be returning this item. But after hooking it up to my pc, recording my voice a few times, and doing some gaming, I couldn't be more satisfied. The speakers do lack quite a bit of base, but the crisp quality far surpasses that of my Skull Candy Uprocks. The mic is quite impressive as well. Ok noise cancelling, and more than satisfactory quality. When playing back video clips, I can hardly hear any background buzzing, which was a problem I experienced with my last $40 headset. The excessively long cord does get annoying at some times, so the 3H V2 might be a good alternative, but for 15 dollars, I say I got far more than my moneys worth.

Bought it for my kids as other reviews mentioned the small ear pieces. The sound quality is good, as is the mic pickup, but the ear pieces are on the small side, even for kids. They must be worn a little bit forward, not completely on-ear, to feel right.Has Steelseries quality, but not their design. Think I'll save up and get them Sibera V2s for Christmas.

These are fantastic headphones! Great sound, great mic quality, and after some use are very comfortable. Problem is, less than a year after my purchase the microphone no longer works. I am a freak when it comes to being careful with my things. Absolutely no durability! I expected more from a quality brand like SteelSeries.

Sorry but these are just terrible sound as well as terrible fit. I get that some people need small headsets to travel with but if you are using these as your main gaming headset, look elsewhere. They sit on your ear, not around them. The strap that is on the crown of your head isn't padded. Its just like a plastic that is suspended from one side to the other. I can't really think of a pro other than the fact that they fold up small.I would suggest Plantronics, Logitech, Corsair, Creative, etc. over this any and every day.

This headset has great audio. I only had to set my PC audio level to a 5 out of 100 to hear this, which I think is due to the inline soundcard on the USB cable. The fit was great for my kids and I found it comfortable for a few hours of wear. The ear muffs are well padded.I found that the USB plug was very hard to insert as though it were too small or large for the computer port. Same hard fit on all computers I tried it with. Then I unplugged it from one PC and the USB port on the PC broke and remained inside the headphone USB cable plug. I was concerned this might happen and now I can't use the headphones or the USB port on my PC.The microphone worked for a couple days, then stopped working entirely. I like the fact that it slides in and out of the head piece.I'm in the process of returning the failed headset and based on other reviews, I may not buy another one due to concerns with the life and failed left or right side audio others have pointed out.

It is light weight and has a soft band on the top, comfortable to wear. It has a built in microphone, great for talking to your team. And it is a lot, lot cheaper than other make and style, but still has a very good sound quality.

YES, it is small, not only the ear-cup small but also the whole thing is small. when you wear it it seems like someone is putting pressure on top of your head. Then i try to adjust the angle a little bit, it feels better.IF you want to know how small the ear cup is, the area it cover is no bigger than a size of egg THAT is, in terms of area, if your ear are bigger than an egg, the headset will not cover whole of your ears.PRO:cheap, i get this because i am an value brand a lot, i know there is alot of headset they are better than this, but for my budget this one is the only one i could getCONS:SMALLHEADACHE, yes, this things gives me headache when you wear it for like few hours, i think is because the pressure thing on top of the head

I just received this headset the other day, and I really like it. They fit great on my head and ears, everything sounds good, the mic works great, and they fit me perfectly. However, this headset is not for everyone. I'm a girl and I have small ears. You can tell just by looking at the headset that it's tiny. I'm not sure how anyone with an even slightly larger head and ears would be comfortable wearing this headset. I like it because I am used to having giant headsets that are way too big and uncomfortable on me, and I finally have a headset that's me-sized. So for me and for the price, I am very happy with my purchase.
