I included 2 photos so you can see the size of the dryer balls, that is a large apple next to it. They are larger than I originally thought and I love them. I used 2 in a full tub of laundry and they work great. They are quiet compared to the plastic balls I have been using and I love that they don't leave any marks on your clothing like tennis balls do. Another thing, I make felted Christmas ornaments and making the "ball" portion is a pain so I tried one of these and they work perfect and save me a bunch of needle punching time! See the last photo? I purchased 12 (2 sets) but I am going back for more. I would highly recommend this seller.

My wife hangs her dress clothes up to dry instead of using the dryer so I cannot say how it would have worked with delicates and women’s dress clothes.I dry everything else in the dryer. I never use dryer sheets or fabric softeners because of allergy issues. I have tried using these wool balls and not using them. My conclusion is that they do slightly improve the fluffiness of the towels and other clothes. And it does appear to reduce static cling somewhat. And there is no aparant downside to using these wool balls except for having to sort them out of the dryer load when I take the clothes out.So my experience is that they do help somewhat with fluffing up the clothes and reducing static cling. And other than the minor nuisance of sorting them out of the dried clothes to use in the next dryer load there seems to be no downside. But do not expect miracles....

Okay, so I've heard about the dryer balls MANY times over the years.. but never got around to actually getting them and trying them myself. My grandma raved about them for years. Fast forward to earlier this year when I moved in with my mother in law for 3 weeks after emergency open heart surgery, and I had to do her laundry AND my home laundry at her place. The dryer balls were amazing. I couldn't believe I'd never tried them. So, when I saw these, that SIX come in the pack, so I have extras in case of any issue... I jumped on it. I have used them in every load of laundry since they arrived, so probably 7 loads, and EVERY load of laundry has been wrinkle free. The drying time has been reduced as well. The bouncing that they do in the drying cycle really helps to dry clothing quicker. The only disappointment I have with the product is that I didn't purchase them sooner... So more disappointed with myself. :) I can't speak of how they hold up over time, since it is a relatively new purchase. But overall, if you check this item out, just purchase it. You won't regret it!!

Dryer sheets are both harmful to the inner workings of your dryer as well as toxic to the human body on so many levels. Wool dryer balls are a healthier choice and these are perfect. They are affordable and shipped packed in a nice little carry bag so that you can use it for travel if needed. These dryer balls are great! Add a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil and you have that great smell you want from the dryer sheets without all the harmful effects. No reaso not to give it a try! They work for static cling just as well also.

I love these dryer balls and have not used fabric softener or dryer sheets since I purchased them! There is a trick to using dryer balls....don’t over dry your clothes and hang all synthetics! Static cling happens when we over dry and mix synthetics with cotton. I dry all of my loads on low and the wool balls save in drying time as well!

I really don’t think the do anything. I still have static cling in my clothes, the don’t feel much different and no amount of essential oil on them makes your clothes scented at all. Pretty disappointed. There were a ton of positive reviews, but then I realized that they came with a little postcard where the company sends you free essential oil of you write good reviews.I still use them, maybe they make some small difference but I’m certainly not wasting any more of my oils on them. I’m not sure if it’s a bad product, just not what I expected.

We have been trying to find more natural alternatives for harmful chemicals that we have in our home. Our youngest son has eczema, so we try to avoid perfumes in laundry detergents and dryer sheets. I ran across this product and was excited about the possibility of wool balls adding fluff to our clothing and being able to add essential oils to the balls so that our clothes smell cleaner. We have used the balls for 6 loads of laundry so far and I am very pleased with this purchase!

I converted from using dryer sheets when doing the laundry and have saved so much money since using these dryer balls, not to mention it’s more eco friendly! The directions say to use 3 per small/medium load and 5-6 for large loads, but I usually use just 3 regardless and they work like a charm. I can definitely tell they reduce drying time, and when adding a few drops of essential oil, they make laundry smell amazing! I will definitely consider buying again in the future.
