The Fall (Dismas Hardy series, book 16): A complex and gripping legal thriller

If you love mystery and are a San Francisco native or former City inhabitant you will love these novels-The City is it’s own character in every novel. Characters are so deeply complex and so real and really likable. I’m going to be sad when I finish the series 😞

As with everything Lescroart puts out, this is a very well written story that is near impossible to not thoroughly enjoy!

I like these stories. I have read them all, it's like catching up with old friends. Maybe a little simplistic in some parts, maybe a little predictable, but aren't old friends like that?

The story is too transparent and there is not much excitement building up. On the whole rather disappointing and not his best book.
