BreakFree BF-CLP4 CLP Liquid 4 oz

I have been using this product since it first hit the market and continue to use it to this day. It has never disappointed me and does exactly what it says it will do. I use it for lubrication and swab bores for storage.

Yet to use on a firearm, but for the number of premium folding pocket knives I collect (some I use pretty hard) this stuff works miracles. Almost shocking how well it cleans up my knives & small hand tools, and especially how QUICKLY it does so. I don’t think it’s food safe so bear that in mind, but for the uses listed above and any similar tasks, I have no problem recommending 9/10

I used to work in the DOD Materials Science program. We used CLP Break Free on aircraft and when I was an embedded Tech Rep with the USMC in all the fun places they used Break Free on their weapons. Good enough for the USMC in hostile environments ......... good enough for me.

I've been using BreakFree CLP for firearm lubrication and protection since it came to the market about 50 years ago. During those years over 300 firearms have passed through the collection, all of which were maintained with BreakFree CLP. Even after living here in South Florida for over 40 years, with its extreme heat and humidity, I have never experienced a corrosion or lubrication issue with any of my firearms. There may be newer products on the market, claiming all kinds of improvements, but I'm happy sticking with half a century of proven performance.

Everything showed up in perfect condition and extremely fast. Even though it is the new bottle should still be good.

Military type gun oil, nothing really special. 50w motor oil works just as well if not better, I've used them both in the military and civilian life.😁

Perfect for what I needed

I first started using this stuff in the Army. Breaks down buildup easy and is great lube. I now use it in all my kits.
