Lagless passthrough, great compatibility!
I was looking for a solid hdmi capture card l, and after seeing a positive review of this one by EposVox, i decided to try it. It works perfectly with OBS out of the box because it is UVC compliant, meaning it should work with pretty much any recording or video application. The hdmi out on it is lagless, and you can input 4k, although the card will only record 1080p60. It also strips out HDCP so that you can record PS4 and other things with HDCP protection. It comes with a type c usb adapter and an otg adapter so you shouldnt have any trouble getting it connected. Very highly recommended!

It works for live streaming
I do live streaming, and used a different device before. Had two streams going, and one of the other devices died on the green channel (purple output). Bought one of these because I could get it quickly, and it works better than the other device (less delay).I'd already read about the heat (yes, it gets hot) but that doesn't affect my situation. This was inexpensive, and works.

ABSOLUTELY REQUIRES USB 3.1+ However, does support Linux and supports 480p!
UPDATE:Already dead and has stopped working. Don't buy. ReturningOriginal Review:So I got this thinking I could get away with running this device with USB 3.0 (I have a Z97 motherboard, I know, its old- I'll be getting to that) but you absolutely need USB 3.1 or higher. If you don't you will get the following:- Jitteriness in the video recording.- Glitching of the video picture (Screenshot, Z97 Linux).- Weird recording artifacting.Hardware I verified this with:- MSI Gaming 5 Z97, Intel Core i7 4790k, Nvidia 1070ti ( Manjaro/Arch) DOES NOT WORK- Dell Inspiron 15 7567, Core i5-7300HQ, Nvidia 1050ti (Windows 10) DOES NOT WORK- Dell G7, Core i7-8750H, Nvidia 1060 Max Q (Windows 10) WORKS!Your options are, if you have a desktop- upgrade your hardware or buy a PCIe card for USB 3.1. Laptop you'll need to throw your hardware out or go and get something else.About the recording device though. It DOES support Linux, rather well actually, worked perfectly with no extra drivers or kernel configuration (Manjaro/Arch).I did test it with a 480p signal and it also works, so good chance this will work for you if you use a RetroTink or RAD2x, you could also use an OSSC as someone else has stated before in the comments if you record retro consoles.1080p and 720p look nearly identical to my Elgato HD60, maybe a little worse- but I was also testing this in USB 3.0 and it looked better when I was testing it in 3.1.Audio quality kinda sucks though, use the line out or another method of getting audio. Other than that, if you're looking for a versatile capture device that works in Linux and will take 480 look no further, just remember to check if you have USB 3.1 first.

Perfection
For $100, you get decent quality and it works right out of the box with Linux! Quality rivals the Avermedia HD, and it truly is 60fps with low latency. 100% worth the price!

Device Runs HOT
Device Works Well, Good Performance for The $$. The Device runs HOT when powered by USB. Recommend use a splitter with the device you are recording, when device is off there is no passthru on the HDMI. I unplug usb when not in use, splitter keeps video to my monitor while device is off.I use OBS studio to capture the video (Free Software). This Device installs as a video input device (Camera) , Software that uses Video Capture cards will not see this device.(3) Stars because of the Heat and the non-Video Capture Ability.

Elikliv capture card
I got it it didn't take me that long to figure it out how to use it the instructions weren't that great but I started using it on obs and it's less stress on my computer and it's good still trying to figure out all this stuff but it works well for what I use it for gaming and YouTube

It’s Pretty Good
It deserves 4 stars. A few things. First, the device gets really hot, but on the other hand, when recording for long periods of time, the device temperature will get hot and stay at what seems to be a constant temperature so I am not as concerned with that. Second, the audio is pretty good, it’s seems a little weird but if you edit the video and run it through an editing program, and render it, your program should automatically fix the audio. I can’t explain how it does it but it sounds better after rendering it. Unfortunately, there is no audio and game volume control so sometimes if your commentating it’s hard to hear your voice during playback. The program itself is, I guess we can say is “Picky”? It is very demanding to what specs your computer is, and it’s a pain because when you change one thing in the program settings, you have to change everything for it to work without giving you problems. The video quality is great so far! Should be a good buy for most people?!
