Exactly what I wanted for doing yoga at home. Downward dog, baby, cat or tree, on this mat there’s no slipping so I can do them all with confidence. It rolls up nice and small afterwards too.

YogaMatters have been in business for some years and this is one of the best yoga mats available anywhere. It performs exactly as is needed to keep you stable and comfortable in poses. Their mats are thick and long-lasting though slightly heavy to carry around, but comfort and safety are my priorities.

Odd sticky feeling but so far non slip

The mat feels good and great colour. The mat is sticky but I'm finding that my hands are slipping quite a lot, I've only used twice so hopefully with a bit more use it will improve

Puchased for my weekly yoga class and it is very good. Easy to carry and good for grip.

Having used this mat daily for about 1 month now, I am not experiencing the lack of grip that other reviewers mentioned. To the contrary, I find the mat very grippy, and material provides, for me, an optimal balance of firmness and softness. The mat is also nice and wide. In general, I find this mat to make my practice much more enjoyable and responsive. I do not have experience with more expensive mats that advanced practitioners may use, but for the price I suspect this may be one of the better values out there.

Good size & colour, easy to roll up & carry (bought strap separately).Chose this brand following a Good Housekeeping recommendation.Provides a well-cushioned surface for yoga/Pilates practice & I have found it to be non-slip unless palms get very sweaty on exertion. A good buy for the price.

Non slip mat, great quality

Habe mir die Sticky nach 6 Monaten regelmäßiger Yoga-Praxis gekauft und finde sie für den Preis hervorragend. Ich hatte vorher eine stinknormale Gymnastikmatte aus dem Supermarkt und bin gerade im Downward Dog immer sehr schnell gerutscht. Als 100%ig "sticky" würde ich die Matte zwar trotzdem nicht bezeichnen, aber ein bisschen selbst arbeiten und halten muss man denke ich schon noch. Oder einfach das 3-fache ausgeben??Weil hier so viel über den Geruch gelästert wird: der Geruch ist für jeden normalen (nicht hypersensiblen) Menschen kein Problem - es ist eben keine Baumwolle oder Naturfaser und riecht einfach etwas künstlich aber keineswegs aufdringlich. Wer's "sticky" mag/braucht, der muss sich eben damit abfinden.Die Farbe ist etwas schöner und kräftiger wie in der Beschreibung (meine ist purple) und insgesamt hat man ein sehr schones Handgefühl. Obwohl man sie in die Waschmaschine stecken kann, habe ich sie noch nicht gewaschen. Ich weiß auch nicht, ob ich das tun würde oder mir lieber eines der zahlreichen im Internet beschriebenen Reinigungsmittel selbst zusammenbraue.FAZIT: Sehr empfehlenswert, für den Preis Top, 80% Stickyness, Geruch unproblematisch.Namaste.

Ich habe die Matte nun seit drei Wochen in täglichem Gebrauch (ca. 45-60min) und kann bisher nichts Negatives behaupten. Die Matte hat zwar zu Beginn ganz leicht gerochen, aber nicht extrem oder unangenehm. Mittlerweile riecht sie gar nicht mehr! Sie schützt auch genug (ich bin eigentlich total empfindlich und bekomme wenn meine Knie den Boden berühren und ich mich bewege immer blaue Flecken, das ist mit der Matte nicht der Fall ;))Und sie geht ebenfalls schnell wieder in ihre ursprüngliche Form zurück und rutscht nicht rum.Ich bin durchweg zufrieden. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich allerdings aktuell nichts sagen.

Die Matte gefällt durch ihre gute aufrollbare und selbsthaftende Eigenschaft. Sehr empfehlenswert. Angenehm im Griff. Wunderbare Farben - mal was anderes.

+ schnelle lieferung (im übergroßen karton)+ verarbeitung ist gut+ gute haftung am boden+ ganz leichter plastikgeruch nach dem auspacken ziemlich schnell verflogen, einfach einen tag lang ausgerollt liegen lassen und fertig+ gut zusammenrollbar, da angenehm dünn und flexibel (kleines packmaß, das war mir wichtig)- kleines minus für die farbe: ozean-grün ist nicht so "pudrig" und "edel" wie angenommen, sondern eher petrol-türkis. das hat auf die gebrauchstauglichkeit aber keinen einfluss :)

I bought the mat for Birkam Yoga classes and I am very satisfied with it. It has a good grip even under extreme conditions and it is suitable for the washing machine, which is making it very practical.As an extra, the colour is just beautiful! Very good prize-quality! I would recommend it.
