Sunterra 320106 Pre-Filter Replacement Pond Filters, Blue and Black

I ordered 2 sets of these for my 450 gph pump that fits in my sunterra filter box to replace the old filters. They fit...not a snug fit though which worries me because the debris can slide around the edges and get into my pump. When I pulled out the filters I purchased at Menards I noticed that these are a lot thinner. That worries me too. In my 400 gallon pond I can go 2 -3 weeks without cleaning my old thicker filters before it started bogging down my fountain. These do not come with any package markings saying they are Sunterra, just a plain clear plastic bag. They are precut for a hose or fountain in the middle and they don't leave the precut piece in there for you to tear out in case you don't want to use the hole. I had my last set for an entire season and I am not sure these will make it a full season because of how thin they are. Cleaning them off with a hose may damage them over time. For the price I guess they will do but next time I will just get the ones I had from Menards for a few more bucks.Pros.PriceSuper Fast/Free ShippingCons:They don't fit snugly around the edges of the box.They are thin. This is not an issue if you are using it in the box its intended for because you have to have a place for the water to come out. However if you are getting this to wrap around a smaller pump you're stuck with a hole.They are NOT SHIPPED with the Sunterra box they show in the description. Absolutely No package markings ( who knows what they sent me) Maybe some cheaper filter..I don't know.

These filters were exactly what I needed. I had to trim them slightly to fit my particular filter box but it was not an issue. They are working great and I recommend them.

Great filter. I use for an indoor pond filter for my red eared slider. Very durable for a turtle. I change every 3-6mo depenending on waste. Overall great quality and great price. Able to be rinsed for at least 2 uses per package.

No complaints

Although this filter is not the same brand as our pond pump and filter box, it was the same size, shape, and design. The filter is a good quality. The black filter helps catch bigger pieces of debris while the blue filter catches smaller debris. The filter is also washable - we have rinsed out the filter multiple times to get more use out of it. The price was similar to what we typically purchase at a local retailer and is convenient to purchase for when the store is out of stock.

This feels thinner in overall width but filtration appears similar. I would order again depending on cost .

Perfect

The filter was purchased for the pump in our small shallow pond. After cleaning out the pond, removing the leaves and hosing down the rocks and stones, the pond was refilled with water and within a very short time the birds were flying in for drinks and bathing. We have had quite a variety of birds enjoying the fresh clear water, and my husband and I have also enjoyed watching them.
