I have a Pitbull and my son has an Australian Shepherd. Both chew hard and destroy things fast. I loved that this ball did not have a squeaker, lights, or seams. Those all have proven problems because my dog likes to fetch all day with just a plain ordinary ball that is not a tennis ball (They are like sandpaper on a dogs teeth and her previous owner must have used them all the time.) We have had both dogs constantly chewing on one of these for days now and it still looks like new. I am so excited that I do not have to have a bucket full of balls bought to replace one every day because they only last that long.

I have three Border Collies, none of whom are aggressive chewers and only two of them play with these. The only time they have these in their mouths at all is when I take them out morning and evening for a game of fetch. And yet they split completely in half in just a few weeks. There is no way these would stand up to larger dogs or more aggressive chewers of any size. If the company is going to stand by their lifetime replacement policy I hope they are prepared to send me a package of these every couple of months for the next 10 - 15 years since my dogs are pretty young lol!

Well the search continues for a ball that she cannot chew up in less than a day. I literally got these today and within 30 minutes...this happened. I know Am Staffs are aggressive and powerful chewers, but wow...she's only 7 months old and puppy teeth are ling gone. Guess we will stick to Nylabone toys.

These are nice, heavier rubber balls, and my dog (who chews up a tennis ball in about 60 seconds) hasn't made a dent in them! They bounce really well, and since they are heavier, they are easier for someone like myself (who can't throw very well) to lob across the yard. Slightly larger than a tennis ball, just an FYI.

This is the only ball(and I've tried a lot) that my dog hasn't been able to destroy. She is a strong jawed dog who loves chasing her ball and chewing on it when she catches it. She plays and chews constantly and this ball has stood up to her. One note of warning: This is not an indoor ball. It is a hard rubber that nearly took out one of my lamps. We now use it outdoors only and softer balls in the house.

My Auggie and my daughter's Australian shepherd just love these balls an so far my Auggie has NOT been able to destroy them. She destroys every type that we buy. Love the bright color as well as ther are easy to find when she knocks them under furniture. Thank you for an excellent product.

My 2 balls are great !When I first got them I washed them in the top rack of the dishwasher with a little vinegar in the wash. Once they were clean, I stored them in the dry dog kibble so my dogs would find them appealing. They play with them all the time now...

Value and qualityMy dog has really dug into it. He's had it a week and it's still intact.I didn't rate longevity because I have only had it over a week. But, my Frenchton hasn't even played with the second ball.

Initially I ordered the 1.8 inch balls for my dog. I received the two balls right on time and was very impressed and my dog loved them but 4 days later the first ball I gave my puppy was literally falling apart. I gave her the second ball in hopes that the first was a defect but the same thing happened. I ended up returning both balls.Update: so I ended up returning the first set of 1.8 inch balls that I received. They just did not hold up. My dog loves the consistency of these balls. They are firm but a little squishy, so I ordered the next size up thinking maybe that would make a difference and it seems to. These balls are holding up much better than the first and my dog likes them better than any other ball I've tried with her. Don't ever leave your dog unattended with any ball as accidents can happen.

I bought these balls because my vet had mentioned to me that my puppys teeth maybe not be growing in properly and to check a treat she called "ball therapy".The idea behind this is to encourage the puppy to chew on balls that will apply slight pressure on the canine teeth, pushing them forward over time allowing the puppys jaw to grow properly.I am no expert on this subject, but it may be worth looking up for you or mentioning to your vet! All I know is I bought this after my vet mentioned this, and at his vet visit today she said it's working.Good news for all!

My dog is really not interested in this ball. He loves it when it squeaks. She does not squeak, I knew it but I hope that he would like to chew it. But I still give a rating of 4, for its robust construction.

I have a black lab and a valley bulldog. This is only the 3rd toy them have not chewed up and destroyed. The balls are a year old now and still going strong.
