Duncan Hines Comstock Simply Pie Filling, Raspberry, 21 Ounce (Pack of 8)

First off, I was concerned that I wouldn't receive a full case of 12 cans.. For $16, it seemed too good to be true. But, I did in fact receive 12 cans.. A GREAT value...Next, yes, some of the cans were dented.. Seven of them with dents, 4 with surprisingly severe dents.. But I've learned (it's not just this product) that if you're buying canned goods from Amazon, some are just going to be dented... And I've seen enough to think it's not an Amazon issue, it's a "they start that way from the canning plant, and since they can't sell them to the grocery store, off they go in a case to Amazon" issue..Regardless, I thought the flavor was very good, with an acceptable level of actual blackberries in the can.I use various flavors of pie filling like this to mix in with my oatmeal for breakfast (and OMG, sooo-good on vanilla ice cream), and I was certainly pleased with this product for that... Might just try to make a blackberry cobbler as well...To wrap this up, overall I was pleased with the blackberry pie filling, and at the price, would definitely buy more of this when it's in stock... I took one star off of my rating due to all of the dented cans..UPDATE: I ordered another case of these, and there were only two (out of twelve) cans that had a very minor dent each.. I am very please with the quality and price of these, and updated my rating accordingly.. They're a bargain for what you get..

Well balanced tartness with sweetness. It’s neither too thick nor thin. It’s not inexpensive, but it’s a high quality product and well worth it. It’s full of flavor, not prominently seedy, and excellent for a variety of uses. Try it with plain Greek yogurt or swirling with chocolate brownies. Delicious.

Such a delicious pie filling. Great for pies, cobblers and as toping for peach short cake as well. I like the offer of multiple/cans per order. I like to stock up for the winter. Better price per can than in the store. Love the no shipping or handling fees. I save money on the S&H for my next future order this way. That's what brought me to order this.Please stock same number of units, but in blackberry pie filling at this reasonable price per can and 8 cans per order. Thank you.

Was disappointed in this—very brown and unappealing. Did not taste too bad, but appearance turns my stomach. Now I have 12 of these cans that I cannot use.

My local store was out of stock but these were the same price delivered to my door with free shipping. I rated these 4 stars not because it taste as good as Grandma's fresh peach cobbler but for a canned product it is as good as any and conveniently always at hand in the pantry for a quick pie, cobbler or ice cream topping, the ratio of peaches to gel could have been higher and the flavor can be enhanced a bit by adding your own pie spices.

These are very good .

I'm making a peach pie with ice cream for dessert tonight. Later this week, will be making a peach cobbler, which is great with ice cream also.

This product is a great pie filling and has a fabulous taste. It is enough filling for a wonderful cobbler.
