I just received this light Friday 10/25/19.Had some mounting problems due to the handlebar on my bike being undersized.Used the shims but they turned out to be too squishy under pressure.Kept sliding out from under.Found a better way...i used a cut up piece of inner tube wrapped around the handlebar to increase its thickness so the swivel-mount won't squish around and move.Seems to work well so far.Went for a night ride and found the light worked fantastically well in all three modes.I rated this product 5/5 except for battery life.I won't comment on that til the battery dies.I Love the fact that it's USB rechargeable.Sure beats the days of cranky old size "D" Eveready batteries. Really really liked the intensity of the LCD lights,all i can say is WOW!!! sure beats the bad old days of those stupid little flashlight bulbs that couldn't light anything.Yeah...I like this light A LOT...where i live night riding has become essential so i'm glad i found this light.Best i ever owned!!

This is a great light for the money, super bright, long lasting battery, and well built. My only complaint is the bracket to support the light on the handlebars. I had ordered another Victagen light a few weeks earlier and it seems like an earlier model with a bracket with a single clamp centered under the light. I liked it so much I ordered two more and those came with brackets with twin handlebar clamps but it is cantilever the light out and over the handlebar bracket. I had actually bought a supplemental bar to mount the two new lights above the handlebar. Unfortunately the twin-bracket cantilevered design allows the light to drop down as the weight of the light and vibration of riding occurs. I ended up using the single handlebar bracket on the new lights until I can re-engineer the twin-clamp cantilevered bracket to include an extra gusset bracket lock the light bracket to the lower handlebar, which I think should solve the problem. The bottom line is that it is a great light for the cost, but they should go back to a bracket which is centered under the weight of the light eliminating the problems of a sinking light with the cantilevered design.

The only downside to this product is the heft was of the light making it wobble on the bars, but besides that it is high quality, very bright, has great battery life, and is very easy to understand and use.

I own a total of 4 of these bike lights. I bought the first set of two 6 months ago for my wife's bike and a second set of two 3 months ago for myself. I use my bike to commute to work, which is 10 miles one way, i.e. I use the lights for about 1 hour and 15 minutes nearly every day.Over all the lights are quite good, but they have a couple of shortcomings, which is why I only gave them 3 stars:(1) The two lights I use on my bike nearly every day turn themselves off on rough road, which is quite annoying, as you want both of your hands on the handlebar on rough road and hot have to fumble around to get your lights back on, in particular if you run them in stobe mode.(2) The mounting hardware that comes with the light is not adequate. The diameters on both my wife's and my bike's handlebars change along the handlebar, and with the supplied mounting hardware the lights will eventually move and start rotating by themselves. If you torque them down too much, I will break the mounting hardware. I had to put down silicone tape first to provide an adequate surface that allowed me to install the lights such that they would not move during the ride.The lights would be 5 stars straight without the two issues. I was obviously able to overcome the second problem with the silicone/rubber tape, however, the issue that the lights turn themselves off on rough road remains to be a problem and I am looking to replace them with another product.

Love this light! I have the same but with separate battery that make it not very comfortable to use for me, however this new rechargeable unit is just perfect! It came fully charged as well. I used as long at 3 h and it was working perfectly, very bright even on lowest setting. It is easy to install in a handlebar. Highly recommend for cycling!

I'm very pleased with the light itself.No one is stupid enough to engineer the crap out of a light, and then save a penny by shipping it with a garbage mount. That is intentional.I have a mountain bike. This was a light for my mountain bike. Mountain bikes fall over. The light is fine. The mount is not fine. I now have a very bright flash light with a short battery life.The mount didn't even want to fit on the handlebar, it barely looks to be holding on.I would be less bothered by this if the mount wasn't attached with a screw you need to buy a special screw set to remove. It's one of those screws made just to put an additional obstacle between you and fixing the problem.Might be a good opportunity for a 3rd party to make a quick buck manufacturing proper mounts for this. I guess you still have the weird screw problem though.Not even gonna deal with returning this.

Very impressed with the sturdiness came fully charged with leads and the Heart light IS A SURPRISE IS SUPER bright for a little thing and is great on the back of my helmet even in daylight. I have dropped on concrete a couple of time when low to the ground and it's still good the brightness is awesome! Could have done with coming with a washer or two. Once it put them on with these stays in place no matter how hard I hit bumps. Do recommend it.

The mount is secure to the bike but not the light. As a result, the light can just slide off the mount, while the mount remains tenaciously connected to the handlebars. The rear light failed almost immediately.
