Coastal Scents Camouflage Concealer Palette (PL-011)

Love-Love-Love it!!! I only have two regrets in regards to this item: (1) That I didn't purchase it a long time ago 😘; and (2) That I only made the one-time purchase instead of the refill option 💋. Okay please note that prior to purchasing this item, I purchased two other concealer kits from Ulta Cosmetics (Anastasia Beverly Hills and Ulta Concealer Kit). The kits cost approximately $60 and $20. I used both kits and I was not pleased with the outcome. I am extremely new at this concealer game. And for that matter, I'm new to make-up altogether. Both of these kits are dry, not cream. I returned both kits to Ulta. Here's where the story gets better. I took my chance on this kit from Amazon. I used it on myself with lots of help from Instagram and YouTube Tutorials. The outcome was absolutely gorgeous 😍. But wait, there's more 😁. I used the kit on my mom. She is stunningly beautiful without make-up. Never-the-less, I used the kit on this natural beauty, and I'm even more impressed with the kit. I'm looking forward to playing with it more. I'm sure this is an item I'll be re-ordering soon. BTW: I'm black with a carmel complexion. My Mom has a light coco complexion. We both found shades in the kit that sufficiently highlighted and contoured.

I have always been into makeup but recently I started contouring. I purchased this pallet because it was recommended on a you tube video. While I think this pallet might be okay for some people, it didn't work out so great for me.PROS:-A little goes a long way and lasts a long time-Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin-InexpensiveCONS:-Cakey-Doesn't blend very well-Isn't good for light skin (you can only use a couple of the colors)If you have lighter skin, I would probably pass on this one, but if you have darker skin, this pallet might be okay for you. With having light skin, there were only a few colors I could use, and they didn't really do that great of a job contouring on my skin. I was deciding between this product and the Graftobian Concealer palette (for a lot more money). They both have great reviews, and a good quantity of choices. So, trying to be somewhat cost conscientious I went with the coastal scents palette...also because of the many youtube positive reviews it got.The palette is quite large, and so many colors to mix, match, and play around with. I use the lighter colors as a highlighter above my cheeks, and below my brow. I use the two middle colors (top and bottom) as they are closest to my skin color (depending on the area of application). I use the darker colors for contouring or as an eye shadow base. So, I know I'll use every color at some point.The consistency is a dry/dense cream. It is easy to apply with patting motion (no swiping). They are buildable too, I tried mixing before applying - it just gets the colors muddy - so will be mixing another way.I did a few test applications on my various problem areas - dark sunspots (main concern), broken capillaries on my nose, spider veins on my cheeks, blemishes from acne, dark area under my eyes.Each test was with a clean face, toned, moisturized, and primer applied. The first test was just the concealer by itself - patted on with my ring finger. It did okay, but I had to apply a few layers for it to really cover my problem areas...and started getting cakey under the eyes. Plus, it never completely hid my sunspots, unless I had a thick layer (which I don't want to do - bad look). The second test was with the Graftobian Color Correctors applied first in a thin layer over my problem areas. Waited a minute to let the correctors adjust and settle, then applied this concealer (by patting again with my ring finger). Most of my problem areas were covered. Even the sun spot was covered for a little bit. Both times I set lightly with powder - pressing it in to the areas. But, my dilemma was evident! I had not applied foundation! So, my next test was the same as above but with foundation first - liquid applied with a damp beauty blender. Slightly better results. My last test - my favorite, is to apply thin layers of the color corrector, then concealer, then Airbrush my foundation. I prefer this method instead of several layers of just airbrushing...it would get too dry and think in some places. But, by these multiple layers, I don't have to use a lot of any one product, and they layer quite well together. AND I can use some of the darker concealer to do my contouring so it's a more "blended" look with my airbrush. I'm happy with my purchase.

A good product, has different shades to mix to get a perfect match. Has a creamy formula, i would repurchase

Amazing product it does exactly what its meant for complete camouflage. Please use right brush for good result.

it nice, but its not very covering, we have to put alot , and alot of powder.but the shiping was fast and arrive in perfect condition :)
