The Forcefield Pro Lite K Back Insert has CE Level 2 protection along with DuPont Kevlar reinforcement for abrasion resistance. Review: Top of the line armor upgrade - High quality, well designed, armor insert for your riding jacket. The 002 size was a snug fit for my Speed and Strength jacket. The measurements were tight and I was afraid the liner fabric was going to rip, but the armor is flexible enough to curl the edges up and with a little patience I was able to squeeze it through the hole and into the pocket. Nearly twice as thick and a lot more ridgid than the flimsy original foam. Still fairly comfortable but I know it's back there, I also know my helmet is on my head too. CE Level 2 protection for your spine is worth it. Doesn't restrict airflow through my mesh jacket or make my back sweat. The 001 size fit nicely into my girlfriend's BiLT jacket. She feels safer with it also. Hope we never have to test them out but it's definitely a good ounce of prevention to invest for your back. Now go shop for some good riding gloves while you're at it. Combined it might be the best $100 you ever spend. Review: Beefy protection as promised. - Forcefield makes good stuff. Immediately replaced my stock back protection in my new jacket with this insert and feel safer already. It is a little thicker then most standard back inserts, but reading the review and performance stats, I can live with that. Only downside is price, but can't really put a price on a new back ;-)

Fits my Bilt Blaze XL jacket perfectly
Got this from a popular online motorcycle accessories retailer to replace the neoprene pad in the back of my Bilt Blaze size XL jacket. The size 01 fits the pocket perfectly, doesn't move much at all. It lets tons of air through, more than the stock pad. It's light, doesn't really add much perceptible weight to the jacket. It's relatively thick and sticks out a bit on my back, but I like that, makes me feel more protected. I hope I'm never in the position where I have to come back and update this review after a accident, but I can tell you, I think I'll be able to with my spine intact!

Good Protection, Fit my Triumph Jacket Well!
This back protector was recommended to me on the Triumph 675 forum. I checked it's measurements against the built in holder in my jacket and it was going to be snug but looked like it should work. Turns out the measurements are VERY accurate and this protector fit in my Triumph riding jacket well. I can't speak much to its strength or durability yet (thank goodness) but it certainly seems tough. Very steadily made and seems incredibly rugged. It is made of several layers, all perforated. After living with it for a while, I will say that it is a pretty heavy addition to your jacket. However, I’d rather carry around a little weight and not need it, than need it and not have it...

This back protector inlay is truly an armour plate compared to the yoga mat factory inlay. Despite its thickness it's not overly heavy and uncomfortable. Feels just right!
