 This item arrived on time, intact as well as dent and ding free due to the excellent packaging, so kudos to the shipping department.This product came with easy to follow instructions, a USB cord to power the device (fits all of my wall adapters as well as the USB ports on my computers) and 2 metal clips to hold the images and paper you will be using in place.As soon as this item made its way into the living room both kids (ages 16 and 22) were all over it. It was love at first sight and the ideas of what to do with it were plentiful. It powers on and off with the touch of a button and adjusting the brightness level is just as easy. The 16 year old got his hands on it first and had a tracing of Ironman from an activity book done in no time. He didn’t even glance at the instructions and he was able to figure out how to operate this device in under a minute. With that said, it is definitely what I would call user friendly.My neighbor came over and as a fellow artist she was in love with this item as well and asked my son to trace a piece of artwork he’d gotten at a comic book convention for her. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, he did a time lapse video of that process you will see attached to this review.All in all, this item performed above and beyond my expectations. It works so well, I wish I had one just like it in a larger size for bigger projects. I have several ideas for this item myself.

This works well for tracing (Let's Make Art) outlines onto 140 lb Canson Watercolor paper. The plug into my unit is a bit loose, so I place a thin paint brush nadle under the cord where it plugs into the unit to keep it at the proper angle = the 2 stars for ease of use. It is cheap and cheaply made but does the job. You will need a USB outlet to plug this in for power. It does not have an internal battery. I have painted on my paper on this lit light pad with the outline underneath to avoid tracing lines.

My daughters love this light box. I got it for my older daughter who has been really into drawing and tracing lately, and both my daughters got excited about it. Oddly, my daughter also loves it for the ambient light it provides in her room, so she's been using it daily as mood lighting. ;) . Easy controls, clean design. Works exactly as it says. Does not come with an outlet block however, just a cord, so you need to use your own.

I love how bright this light pad is but I received it on the 28th of March and yesterday April 4th I was removing the plug for the first time and the port pulls out almost completely. I am very gentle with electronics and would never yank a cord out and I still got this result. Very upsetting especially since I had it only for one week and this is after the first time trying to remove my cord.

I purchased this light box so that I could more easily weed intricate cut vinyl because I wasn't going to plunk down something like 60 bucks for the Cricut branded light pad. I was pleasantly surprised how well it was packaged. The light box was in a large air channel envelope for protection during shipping. This came with the light box, a USB cord and two clips to hold the paper (or in my case, vinyl sheet) to the light box without moving. The three levels of brightness make it ideal for my usage. It's not flimsy feeling but it is light weight as the light source is LED's. I love the fact it's USB powered because I plan to be able to take this with me and I can power it right from my laptop. I am very impressed with this to say the least. I would recommend this to anyone who cuts vinyl with a Cricut/Silhouette or other plotter type crafting cutter.

Our daughter loves to play doctor/vet and we got her play x-rays and this and put it on a picture ledge. She is sure she's got a real x-ray viewer and LOVE to play with this. It's easy to use and works great

Very easy to control and straightforward, works great! To turn it on you just need to press the button once and to adjust the brightness press and hold the button. Came with a protective layer on it and in a nice box. Excited about using it yaaay :)

The only problem I had with this was it would quit working. And then all of a sudden it would work now I bought it and April and it's now July. Roughly three months and I can't get it to work anymore. I'm only going to order another one because I need it. But I might look for different sources.
