I really loved these lights. I put them outside along my porch at Christmas and they really make a great display as it runs thru all the settings. Very easy to put up. The only thing that could be a challenge with this type of lights outside is if it is windy they can get tangled. However, I live in a very windy area and they did really good. Only a couple got tangled and it did not take away from the look. My brother suggested I tie some twine about a foot from the ground around my porch posts and use clothespins to clip them to the twine. That would have made it even less tangled. This is no fault of the design because I believe they are designed for mostly indoor use with regular curtains, but they looked great and functioned very well outside for me.

Because of the way they are shipped it took me 2 1/2 hrs to hang one curtain. I was cursing them after 20 minutes. Almost gave up on them a few times. They were worth every single second it took me to install them. They really gave my my porch the wow I wanted. They held up through freezing cold weather, ice and wind. Definitely well worth the struggle. After I took them down I packed them a different way so it should not take so long on next use.

Just do not take ties off before hanging. I did and it was a nightmare. I should have read directions.

This is my third order. I combined the blue & pink lights on my bedroom wall. They look great. I have a set of white lights I put up in my living room on the wall behind my flat screen TV. I also have led lights on the back of my TV. Very nice effect when both sets of lights are on. Adds a nice vibe to my rooms. I highly recommend these lights. The only frustration is trying to hang them by myself. It's easier with two people. One to hang them, and one person to unravel each string. However, I hung each set alone.

I took it out of the box, just to see it was chewed on and the box looked like it had moisture damage. They didn't even work. I wasted my money.

Too much of a pain in the butt to get them straightened out and untangled.

Beautiful light display and bright at night. Follow instructions for setup to avoid a tangled mess. Hang to store for future use. Do not store in a pile or rolled up. Hang from a nail and let strands hang down. It took me over an hour to untangle before my 1st use. Just trying to save you the trouble.

REALLY BRIGHT, and Painfully blue. These are *INTENSE* LED lights. I set it to strobe and took a shower, listening to Darude’s Sandstorm.I was found unconscious, three days later, with scorch marks across my body and a pentagram scrawled across my back in lamb’s blood.Too much to be used as a nightlight. I’d recommend the purple/UV strands if you’re aiming for that, because Christ these are bright.
